I have always found a reviewer's description of himself quite interesting in what it reveals. I came across this in Review #3 of Jason #2 (Indianapolis) in today's Newest Reviews (August 9):

"You: I'm a 52 y/o white guy who moved to Indiana a year ago. I have my own consulting firm and pay a 38% rate on my income. I am married (25yrs) and she knows that I like young men. Between us we have 7 University undergraduate and post-graduate degrees. My joy is studying history and politics...and visiting Paris and the Costa del Sol as often as I am able."

Is it just me or is this just too much information - at least the guy is aware of his own limitations based on his review.

Naw - cut the guy some slack - he just accidently posted his resume instead of his "reviewer's description" God only know what the company he was appling for employment with thought when they opened what he had intended for the review!!!

38% tax bracket and 7 degrees "between us"? Give me a break!

I consider it important to read the reviewer's self description as I like to evaluate the source of information when assessing the information itself. Reviews are very subjective and if I can identify with the reviewer, I find I am more likely to be convinced by the reviewer's judgments. Put it this way, if I wanted a review of a steakhouse, I wouldn't bother reading the comments of a vegetarian. :+
