I'm inspired by ancient Greek society's placing of sex/uality in the middle of one's experience of living (as opposed to the fringe, which most porn currently encourages).

 

And then I was pondering how art from the Renaissance often used sex to sell virtues - and continues all these centuries later to capture us through sex appeal to lead us to pursue beauty and truth in our own lives.

 

So we'll see where this goes...

I think you'd carry off the business suit idea quite well. Like the idea of you fully dressed in suit and tie, minus c and b proudly displayed outside your pants. That's a hot look.

You already have some great photos with an African American model. The contrast of skin tones, especially in black and white photos, is outstanding consider using him if he is willing.

I believe my model will have a business suit on (and the focus will be as much on him as on me) because, yeah, it's a hot look, Dec Guy - and a relatable look at that - and definitely one that lends itself as much to status as to the stranglehold of maintaining one's social rank. I'm thinking he desperately wants to feel he has a voice, and gets himself all empowered to go for what he wants. On a hotel bed, as in everyday life. So his dress - and my tee - shirt come off pretty quickly.

 

And, absolutely, Epigonos. In a perfect world I'd have a more colorful sex life (I'd say two-thirds of the men who see me are white), and in my gallery you'll notice this being welcomed with not only that magnificent black friend (who was going on 50 and chasing my tail at the time, as was the 21-year-old photographer), but an Indian and a Chinese pal as well. If the friend who's on the fence about the upcoming shoot decides against it, I'll be hoping for a Latino or a Turk in his 50s.
