Why do porn? It is so passe---given all that is free and online!

I don't find Adam's writing or his photographs to be like most of the internet porn I've seen. It really seems to be from a place of exchanging a truly sensuous and interactive experience with "Steve." In a way, it is much more about feelings, both Adam's and Steve's! Don't misunderstand, the "in your face" porn available these days has its place. To me though, with Adam's text and pictures, he certainly goes beyond what most might consider "everyday" porn. He also expresses what sets him apart from the run-of-the-mill sex worker in how well he is able to bring his own unique gift of intimacy to his professional encounters.

Thank you so much for this porn of yours, Adam. Your open thoughtfulness in describing this encounter keeps it much fresher than most! JMHO!

Kippy - you might enjoy a blog entry I posted a few days before the RentBoy raid on police brutality and civil forfeiture... as a fetish: www.simplyadam.com/blog/skill-seekers-and-fantasy-finders-part-eight

And, yes, a real one, Doug. ;)

As always, Tru One, thank you for your sincerity and support. We have a surplus of the "in your face" variety (I call it "manufactured rapture" - since it tends to appeal to very real desires we have, but then narrows our width of interest, making us dependent on the porn industry itself versus feeling empowered to go get what we need in our everyday lives) and, I believe, porn can be better used to help us feel more connected to our desires, assisting us in gaining the tools we can use for expressing ourselves, and finding one another anew. I wrote more about this at www.simplyadam.com/blog/steve-does-adam-part-three.

All in all, I wanted to demonstrate that pornography itself is neutral - like technology, like many other things - but it's in the intention behind it, how we can most effectively use it to point people to their higher needs... that's the future.

There's no mistake that the paintings of the Renaissance use naked, sexy people. Sex points to beauty. And beauty can lead to truth and wisdom. So, what are we using sex to sell? Ten inch dicks? Cars? Donuts? Or a more expansive way of being? It's in how we use it.

"Steve Does Adam" is my little nod in what I feel is a more intentional direction - along with a couple righteous squirts.
