99% of the escorts I have hired have shown up or called (often the day before) with a valid medical reason why they can not keep the appointment. Again, in some cases, long before there was an escort review site. So the escort you mentioned is doing a good job, but so do the overwhelming number of escort who stay in business.

That is a really good question cany10011. Travel insurance is an interesting variable in the equation. First and foremost, you would have to pay attention to the specifics of your policy. The policies I am most familiar with, for example, only allow for cancellation in circumstances of documentable illness. But I know of other people who have found policies that cover all sorts of reasons for cancellations up to and including "all".

 

Using miles used to be another excellent way to cover escort travel. Southwest Airlines used to have the best policy for this, but now simply no showing to a flight would also call for the forfeiture of the miles... reservations need to be cancelled (it may be 1 hour prior to the flight) but I can't remember the exact policy- to have the miles re-deposited. Some other airlines charge pretty high fees to redeposit mileage booked using award travel.

 

In this specific case, I booked the escorts flight in advance and really didn't lose too much in terms of actual $ cost. In total, my losses are probably somewhere in the $150 range, which isn't a picnic in the park, but not the end of the world either. I would be much more concerned protecting a $1000+ vacation through insurance and probably not so much with the under $200 flight- but that is something that you should make a risk/return decision for yourself.

 

My heavy cost here was the emotional cost of cutting the cord of a several year escort client relationship. Most of you helped me see the situation clearly, for what it was, and I appreciate that. To the trolls.. well, keep on trolling.
