"At least an hour" means that I allocate a minimum of one hour for this purpose, not a maximum of one hour for this purpose, although I am often amazed at how some guys kick ass in the gym in so little time.

For me, everything combined: changing, stretching, core, weights usually comes to just under two hours.

For multi-day sessions, I allocate at least an hour per day for the companion to take care of biz, go to the gym, etc.

I think that 2 hours is a reasonable time for the gym. If my multi-day companion wants to go to the gym, I always go with him. I enjoy a good workout, too. And it is fun watching him lift weights and doing cardio in those tight tank-tops and short gym shorts. A lot of time I will ask him to train me or with me. That way I can be close to him and learn a few new routines in the gym. Plus, there usually is some hot eye-candy at the gym, also. I have learned some great new exercises and training tips from escorts who frequent the gym and who could also be trainers. I consider it a nice perk to get a training session along with the hot companionship.

So the flip side also applies to clients. I've had a few clients who will not get off their damn phone ( why even hire me if you're going to be glued to your phone the entire time? ). I also like to remind folks to use Do Not Disturb on their phones so any notifications don't distract from the overall experience.

Only an idiot would pay attention to their phone when they should be getting your clothes off. Even dumber if they look at that phone once you are shirtless. I guess there is no way to screen for stupid though.

I have to confess Kurtis, I don't mind if my client is on the phone all the time. It's HIS time. In a personal interaction I would find it unacceptable, but during work? It's your time. You do whatever you want to do with it.

I would like to share some food for thought with you.

Being day in day out together with someone not only is unnatural, (nobody is ever together all the time) it is also very demanding. Specially if you are working as a companion, you have to be on, aware, present, polite, excited, having fun whether your client is happy or sad or energetic or recovering from trauma. Whenever a therapist sees a couple who are spending all their time together, the first thing they say is to take time apart to miss one another, to recover a sense of the person they are so that they can come back and share it with the other. EVEN if they are having a wonderful time. Spending time apart, not only will allow your escort to manage his private life matters, but also will help him miss you and come back recharged.

If you want to go to the gym together and get a free training session, if he is up for that, that's wonderful. I would strongly suggest that after that you allocate two different hours in your day so he can be alone and decide whatever he wants to do. You might be blown away by how such little time will make the quality of your togetherness increase tenfold.

Give him time alone. Even if he is not asking for it. Worse case scenario he will be thankful about the break, and will be more rested and ready for more when he is back, best case scenario, he will go crazy missing you those two hours and will be as excited as a puppy when you appear again.

I know sometimes we have the temptation of cramming as much together time as possible, but when it comes to intimacy more is definitely not better.

Big hug!

Let me think, paying attention to Kurtis sans shirt (and whatever other pieces of clothing you care to nominate) or paying attention to my phone? Let me think about that!! Tell you one thing, the phone loses this argument!

In either case, we all need to be able to disconnect from the world for a little bit rather than being slaves to it.

I hear you. I recently realized that I have spent way too much time in here lately. It might be time for me to focus my attention somewhere else, for a change. Variety is good for the soul.

I certainly do agree with you. Going to the gym is something I enjoy, but it does not and will not replace what I call "me-time." In a multi-day session, both parties need daily "me-time" breaks. Otherwise, the long session is just too suffocating for each person. I definitely concur with you on that point. Absence does indeed make the heart grown fonder, and it does regenerate the passion and the libido.

Thanks for helping me clarify my position.

Big hug back to you, too.

Awww. I'm sorry. I discontinued that function years ago. There are a few folk (certainly not you, Mike) who aint got manners, so I put an end to it.

I understand completely! I've received a few PMs I'd have preferred not to. I ignore them, and although I tend to reply even just to say thanks, 'not replying' doesn't always mean 'ignoring'.

Did you see what I just did? I replied even though there was no need for a reply.
