Are briefs back?

I believe (and just checked the web site) Levi's 501 Jeans have buttons instead of a zipper.

 

(and I seem to recall being quite popular back in the day with the commando crowd . . .)

In the clone days, nobody wore belts. You left the waist and the bottom fly button unbuttoned. The 501s fit so tight that you had to slide into them gradually when you put on a fresh pair. A pair of Adidas running shoes and a LaCoste shirt completed the clone uniform. Hair was very short and scissor-cut, not buzzed, not shaved.

I asked these fellows who stopped by today what they preferred, and they graciously took their pants off to show me. :rolleyes: More research is required (lots and lots of it), but it's a start...
