I guess in Appalachia not living in a trailer park makes you middle class, just like owning a car makes you wealthy in China, India and Brazil. LOL

I would agree with Mike. There could be some sort of art dimension to it but I don't really like anyone touching breasts so there you go.

I'm just a bit curious about how many guys around here have a clue how the term Partido Revolucionario Institucional translates and what the hell it is?

 

I'm sure some Donald Trump's suporters don't know what it means and they don't care, because everything written in Mexican language is evil...

I know the reference - Institutional Revolutionary Party, the party that dominated Mexico's government for most of the 20th century. I assume oxymoron is the use of "institutional" and "revolutionary" in the name.

Since I have no difficulty with the first, intellectually, I should have no difficulty with the second. Brother and sister, innocently posed and then replicating that pose 20 years later. I do not sexualize the first nor the second except as I sexualize the hot brother, though the sister does have nice breasts and is very attractive.

So I think the photographer was successful in separating the act of hold the breasts and sex, but ultimately, they probably had other pictures they could have duplicated instead of this one.

The pics are obviously meant to mimic one another. I don't find anything sexual about the second pic placed in that context. Without that context it might be. If, for example, the child in the first pic was wearing a t-shirt then the second pic might be looked at as more sexual.

My understanding is that PRI started as a party of the 1910-20 revolution and its aim was to insitutionalise the results of the revolution. Over time it co-opted others into its administration. So the Revolution morphed into a political organisation that ran and maintained the new status quo in the country. Unlike some other revolutionary societies, there was not a continual revolutionary process. It was more a case that the revolution was done and now we need to 'institutionalise' it to preserve it. In that context 'Institutional Revolution' in not an oxymoron although it might seem to be to Anglo eyes.
