So, Steve Harvey just announced the wrong winner of the Miss Universe Pageant (must see live TV). Oops. Poor Miss Colombia was in apparent catatonic shock as they removed the (ugly, $300,000) crown from her head and gave it to Miss Philippines.

Even better, though, was earlier in the evening (must see TV) when judge Perez Hilton (yes, you read that right) was asked why the pageant was so important for the world today and replied, "Because it is no longer owned by Donald Trump!"

The crowd went wild. Steve Harvey looked puzzled.

Now Trump is being "consulted" and he will have the new pageant owners consider the possibility of co-winners? Say what?

There is no problem in this world too big or too small not to incur the opinion of Donald Trump. Like rust, he never sleeps.

I'm not sure that I believe this was accidental. Then again, I tend to be a cynic.

I kind of thought the same thing for re publicity. Not a fan of Steve Harvey to begin with.

I don't know about that... but I'm sure 80% of Trump supporters will say Harvey made the mistake because he's black, and all blacks are to held accountable for his actions and not to be trusted with such important jobs.

Harvey is also secretly Muslim and a cousin of Obama...

The part in which they remove the crown is just awful.

But these pageant results really don't matter. Miss Colombia will always be remembered as a Miss Universe whose crown was taken away. And of course she's stunning enough to be Miss Universe, which is what counts in the end anyway.

Miss Colombia was able to compose herself pretty well just a few minutes later:

A bit like the Supreme Court awarding the presidency to the wrong candidate back in 2000 (however they did not have the integrity to reverse themselves). Oops.

Of course we will pay for that outrage for many years to come.
