A Bait Boys ad with a picture of Mike Gaite and the headline "We make STRAIGHT guys GAY4PAY stars" appeared in the current HotSpots Magazine. I would be very surprised if Mike is GAY4PAY.

If you want to start gossip threads to stir the pot, they have to be based on fact. Otherwise, this will just involve into a thread about how totally gay I am, which I am. I am currently wearing a Burberry shirt, this season's Joe's Jeans, and fabulous Prada boots. I can name that musical theatre tune in three notes. And I have slept with a couple thousand too many men in my life to be straight. This thread is ridiculous.

+1. Mike, I've never met you but I can read, and there's plenty about you out there to read. None of it, none.of.it gives any credence to the article cited by the OP. I laughed when I read the post! But what would I know, I took years to work out that I wasn't straight!

I have known Mike for 3-4 years and have been with him on numerous occasions on both east and west coasts.

The way I read the original post, it wasn't impugning Mike's character, or trying to suggest that he is actually gay4pay. Instead, it was poking fun at baitbuddies' claim that its models are all straight guys who are tricked into gay sex for money. I think that we all probably understand that is just their "schtick," and it is all a fantasy, like most porn.

 

Don't worry Mike, we all love you. ;)

I'm glad Mike addressed this thread directly. Although the OP probably did not intend to start rumors, these can of threads can quickly devolve into just that. Perhaps a better way to address such an advertisement, particularly when the person in the ad is an active Forum member, is to start an offline conversation alerting him to said ad. For example, when a Backpage ad for a escort meetup service used a well-known Forum member's picture I sent him a note regarding the ad.

I was indeed poking fun at the ad and not Mike..... I was very surprised that they could use Mike's image like that...

 

You shouldn't be. It runs rampant. If some random guy is willing to take the pictures of someone else to advertise as an escort, these small lesser known companies (some foreign) will do the same thing.

 

I have a friend whose pictures are often used for sex/penis enhancement web ads. He has done nude modeling, among other things. Picture thieves often take his already huge member and make it even bigger to sell some random pill. He's gone after some, but a lot of them are foreign based companies/organizations he can't reach with the American legal system.

 

People use other people's pics to sell just about anything online. The internet is too big to police every stolen pic sadly.

LOL!!! Bait Buddies (this ad) and Bait Bus all claim the fiction that they are filming straight guys who are so turned on that they willingly suck cock and get fucked for the money they are offered. Bait Bus makes a big deal of picking up a hunky "straight" hitch-hiker, introducing him to the girl on the bus who usually shows her boobs, blindfolding him so the gay guy on the bus can give him a bj, supposedly with him believing it is the girl going down on him. At some point he takes off the blindfold, is super shocked (right!) and then agrees for more money to fuck the guy or let the guy fuck him. Then they make an excuse to stop and leave the "straight" guy by the side of the road without paying him. It's all in a script and the actor playing the "straight" guy has signed a contract and actually been paid!

 

Bait Buddies does a variation and the actors portray friends or brother's/father's friends, supposedly both "straight," (one of whom is supposedly in on the con to seduce his friend or acquaintance) with a promise to the guys that they will be filming a sex scene with two other women. Eventually the director (behind the camera) states that the girls are held up and can't make the shoot, so he offers lots more money to the "straight" guys if they'll go ahead and have sex with each other. Once again, all scripted with signed contracts ahead of time. I know a gay porn actor who told me about his Bait Buddies experience. His account was very funny because he said he had an awful time trying to not laugh out loud during his dialogue (all pre-scripted) during his scene. :D:D:D

 

I suppose some of these actors may be gay 4 pay, but the majority are totally gay and these videos are absolutely for fantasy-fulfillment of a straight guy having gay sex for his "first" time for the right amount of money!
