Would you rather overweight clients inform you about their expectations before meeting?

Whatever makes the client comfortable is fine with me. I don't feel the need to know ahead of time as it's irrelevant to my ability to find someone attractive or provide good service, but I also don't view it as a sign of low self-esteem or anything if someone chooses to disclose. I just figure they're doing so for some of the good reasons already mentioned in this thread.

You should provide a link to your ad and/or reviews so people know where you are located and how to meet you.

Good luck.

Thanks for the tip, BigK. :)

I'm in the process of re-branding so I hadn't gotten all my links together in my signature yet. I've fixed that now by adding as much info as possible there. Still a work in progress... ;)

I always send a pic with the message "Just so you know what you're getting into" Makes thing a lot easier. There are some many guys that are fine with size why waste my time with those who are not. Thier loss but also their right to have trouble with certain types. My motto is "If you're not into me then you are lacking a critical element in what I'M looking for."

I wonder about the motivation for the original question. Why ask if overweight people should clarify expectations?

Dont all clients have some obligation to clarify expectations? Do fat people bear an extra duty?

Should shy-and-withdrawn people clarify their expectations? Should very tall or very short people? People with prosthetic limbs? Someone whose skin is a different shade than the rentguy?

Do I have an obligation to tell a rentguy "hey, the cat-killed-by-curiosity has nothing on me; I expect you listen to a never-ending stream of inane questions while you massage me......?"

Good point yet some escorts won't see clients who are obese because they may not be able to get a keep a hard cock.

In case your question relates to the actual "weighty problem", it makes no difference to me. If you mean "expectations" as to what such client would like to gain out of our meeting, then definitely! I always like to ensure in advance that whatever that client is seeking for can be delivered by me;)

Do you believe thats not true of a host of physical factors?

An escort might not be able to stay hard if a guys the wrong color

Or if a guy is so skinny his ribs show

Or if he's so old his skin sags and his dentures click.

Or the tattoos spell out hateful messages.

Or there are more than 100 piercings

Or he's missing a limb

Or hes covered in proriasis

Or his speech pattern is such that his pearls and compact fall out if his mouth with every word

And yet, thread after thread, the forum focuses on fat people, pre-disclosure, challenges, and discrimination. As if they bear an extra or special obligation, or their situation is somehow more distasteful than any other attribute that might be cause for discrimination.

It is disappointing that fatness is treated in this way. We happen to live in an incredibly fatphobic society.

But, the emphasis on size might also be because that's the most common "undesirable" attribute of forum members (compared to color or height or hateful tattoos, for example).

I think thats exactly right. And about "acceptable-ness"

I've heard it said that our attitude about fat people is the last sanctioned bigotry in America.

If I made prejudicial quips based on skin color, there'd be outrage. If I opined negatively about someone with mental or physical challenges, I'd be labeled ignorant. We're admonished to be more understanding if we react to mega-ink or lotsa metal.

But if an escort related the tale of the client who was so fat, he needed to be rolled in flour to find the wet spot, we'd all laugh and acknowledge the feeling of disgust.

Yep. And I suspect that's because of the beliefs people have about fatness and how it supposedly correlates to ambition, intelligence, morals, etc. Basically, people feel justified in discriminating because they believe being fat is the result of a character flaw and can be helped if only "they tried harder."

We demonstrate that fat bias on here. In the gallery there are threads on gingers, African-Americans, Asians, tattooed guys, hairy guys, smooth guys, bears (only if they're muscular), skinny guys ... no forum member (overweight or skinny) has posted a thread of pics on overweight guys.

Fat people are routinely discriminated against, absolutely. However, I cannot tell you the amount of times I have been shamed or worse for being an atheist. In fact, it can be so bad, I sometimes go "into the closet" and pretend to be a practicing Jew (I am Jewish by birth) and deal with the rare anti-semitism if it occurs.

I always appreciate any kind of contribution in the gallery.

Excuse me but you're very intolerant when someone disagrees with you on most subjects. Don't get mad!

Depends, there are stats and stats... that must be shared according to the expectations of the client.

Bump!

Thank you for your always insightful contributions.

I personally don't care about a client's weight. What I encounter more often than not are clients informing me of their weight as if they expect it to matter to me. It only matters insofar as it limits the client's mobility. Even then, I don't want them to worry about that. The least I can do is be the one to figure out a workaround, and accommodate them such that they don't spend all their time worrying about their own body.

I am glad we have providers with your perspective. A note of appreciation to you and all the providers like you.

Thanks! That's sweet of you. I'd like to think most providers are so considerate. Sorry if you've had a negative experience in the past.

I may have had one or two negative experiences. More importantly, I think it is important to appreciate and recognize our best providers. They should get the attention they deserve. :)

I have recently started sharing my stats with escorts because I am very tall. Although I don't consider 6'4" to be freakishly unusual, many guys have had a surprised look and comment on my height when they open the door.

I imagine if you were a bottom that might scare away some insecure little tops. We all know those types.

This has been an interesting thread. One thing, that pertains in *my* case as a *client*, is that in addition to being big I'm not particularly experienced. I know through expensive hard luck that I'm not the sexual athlete depicted in porn and it's triply difficult being self-conscious, perhaps unrealistic, and--in the moment--finding practical positions to be (in my case) an aspiring top and as (related by others) a functional bottom. So far, oral has provided the best experience, but fantasy being what it is I'll try again.

While I don't fault escorts for not being expert in helping a client with difficulties cope, I'd like to imagine it's a credit to the very best providers if they can help breaking people in, so to speak :-D

How much does one have to weigh to be considered overweight?

I realize your question might be rhetorical,...but it depends on height. For medical purposes, a Body Mass Index > 25 is considered "overweight," and > 30 is "obese." Although as a calculation based solely on weight/mass and height there are bodybuilders who might disagree :-D

Here is the NIH BMI calculator: https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/educational/lose_wt/BMI/bmicalc.htm
