This is a pet peeve of mine. I usually check out TIME Magazine' s site, and invariably, right next to a headline about the Oregon shootings, there is an equal headline about the latest development on the Star Wars film set, or what any given Kardashian is up to. Same with CNN's site.

 

But, oh yeah, they tell us we crave this stuff (as opposed to force feeding it to us), so it's our fault.

Well, I can emapthize with her plight. I hate being stuck in coach. However, I certainly don't mind having coach stuck in me :-).

 

Check NPR or reason.com depending on your political leanings. But what do I know: I get all my news from Conde Nast and the AA EXP Facebook group.

I usually go to nbcnews dot com in the morning for a quick view of the news over coffee...

 

this morning, between headlines for the VW recall and for Russia/Syria tension was this....
