Did I miss something? Although he was reviewed within the last month, I just noticed that on his Daddy's Reviews page, David-SF's picture is gone and he is listed as "Retired." His website has also been greatly reduced in scope. There's still a Rentmen ad up indicating travel to San Francisco later this month, but is it a farewell tour? Anybody know?

I'd presume his website is "reduced in scope" based on the major happenings of last week. At his site is his calendar and contact. Why don't you write to him directly? He's the kind of man who would not be offended and who would respond honestly to your question.

Strangely enough, though I have not seen him in years, Facebook asked me if I wanted to friend him just yesterday. I briefly went to his page and there was some talk of a new or expanded business venture. It may be that he is expanding his gay travel business and cutting back on the escorting. He was a very good escort and I knew him to be a very caring and warm individual.

His ad on Rentmen is current. I agree that considering the recent turn of events, he is limiting his exposure as regards this site in particular, as well as his own site. Reviews on Rentmen are now limited to visibility of a very basic rating system.

I can't answer that, but I do know that the OP Starbuck is now a Guest.:(

People are obviously free to leave our sandbox whenever they want. But I don't understand this big rush lately to do it. I mean if people are afraid that somehow being members here will lead to trouble with the Feds, well I'm sure with the computer detection skills they have at their disposal they could find most of us whether we've just recently unjoined or not. And if people are leaving for whatever reason, why doesn't someone who posted frequently like Starbuck let us know they are leaving instead of creeping out like a thief in the night.

Some people just don't like the "I'm leaving" drama, especially if there's a reason they're leaving.

shoot....very sorry to see Starbuck left....one of the many smart and savvy guys here......I don't think he was the object of any derision or anger from other members, so maybe it was another reason?....

I've emailed him and he isn't retired.

Thank you tedbear!!

For what it's worth, I'm not interested in hiring David SF. I'm sure he is a phenomenal escort, but he isn't my cup of tea. However, I am glad someone went to the source.

Sure glad I know that now.

I haven't ever found him compelling either, but a million satisfied clients can't be wrong. When he used to live here in SF, I would see him on the street occasionally. Photographs don't do him justice. In person, he is very handsome - almost larger than life.

I noticed that about him as well. He was always walking with someone, a client, I suppose - gesturing, very animated, speaking quickly.

He's aged well. I think he is handsomer now than when he 1st started escorting.
