So are you of the same mind as OneFinger that no one comes in your home? A conscious decision not to have escorts in your home is certainly understandable and it is certainly true you never know anyone 100%, but is it just escorts or is it also the pizza delivery boy, the next door neighbor, the drunk uncle who do no get passed the threshold because you never know anyone 100%? When I lived in NY, I ALWAYS invited escorts to my apartment in a doorman-building, for hourly appointments, overnights and even weekends. I felt a lot more comfortable doing so and (naively?) safer in my own environment.
