Hello all. On my twitter feed this afternoon, I saw a well-known, high end NYC -based escort who published pictures of a potential client in what seems like an attempt to shame him. I've seen some escorts do this or similar things for clients who have ripped them off, or who may pose a threat to other escorts. But here, the escort published the photos, saying that the client asked for a lower rate. Now, I understand being firm in rates, and even if the escort's ad had clearly stated that his rates are non-negotiable, it seems to me that being annoyed or offended at being asked the question is not a legitimate reason to post nude photos of a client, some of which clearly show his face. I obviously don't know if there's more to the story than revealed in that one tweet, but this seems like a flagrant violation of ethics to me. Thoughts?

In general, I would be disinclined to contact someone who publicized the name of a client for fear that some unintentional transgression might place me on the front page of Gawker.

(Like that last time I walked in on Nancy Reagan and George Hamilton in the Lincoln Bedroom <shutters>. Thank god Mike Wallace was blindfolded and ball-gagged.)

Are we discussing Austin Wolf? I guessed it even before looking at his feed because previously he texted the phone #s of clients who stood him up or did other transgressions. I looked at his page and he did indeed post body pics of the guy who asked for a discount (but no face or name that I could discern). Even without the face, I still do not think it is in good taste. Just say to your client that you don't take discounts, that should be enough.

It is, indeed, Austin Wolf. After you wrote this, I double-checked the tweet to make sure I was correct. He tweeted a series of 3 photos. In the first, is the client's back and butt from a lying down position. But the second is a selfie shot directly into the mirror, with the client's face clearly visible. The third is from a bit further out, and shows the client's face from a side profile angle. It's not as clear as the second photo, but I can clearly make out the client's face. I'd hope that there's more to this story, but based on the sole information provided in the tweet, this seems so unprofessional, and just downright mean and disrespectful.

Strafe13,

You are certainly right. When you click the picture detail, there is a clear face pic of the client skimply dressed (and a butt shot in a separate pic. Just arrogant and cruel, IMO.

Sadly, many clients or potential clients don't know there are (or refuse to heed) resources available to help them make good hiring choices.

Are we discussing your awesome tumbler? If so, I totally agree!:)

This thread certainly offers guidance on one escort to place on the caution list.

Incredible behavior.

Absolutely nothing "high end" about this sort of behavior. It's as low class as it gets.

And the fellow victimized by this indiscreet action did nothing more than ASK for a discounted rate. Whatever happened to JUST SAY NO?

Starting with their own noggin!

Wow. I just glanced at the first dozen tweets..and I'm amazed this guy has any business at all. So ready to judge, accuse, dismiss and ridicule.

I will admit it's taken me a good portion of my life to realize I dont have to say "Fuck off" "You're a loser" "You know nothing you ignorant asshole", and realize I can rather just say "No thanks" "Not interested" and "Good Bye"

Mr. Wolf is very hot and very expensive. It should not be surprising to him for men to want to be with him and at the same time for them to be a bit squeezed financially. Perhaps he gets this question a lot and reacted out of anger, not for this particular patron, but for all the others with whom he has had to deal. Still reprehensible and unprofessional are the appropriate adjectives. He definitely moved from my some day to my never list. Unfortunately that list is growing, but fortunately there have been a few names added to my yes sir may I have another list that more than fill my time.

Ok even scorts have bad days and this "could" have been the 10th guy in a row who asked for a discount BUT even so THIS is a total dickwad thing to do. I looked at the pix and yes when you click there's his entire face. (the only saving grace for this client is that he's very young and obvs not some older married closeted businessman not that that nakes it much better, AND as far as any embarassment from exposure goes WHOTF will be checking out a gay escorts tweets who could throw the first rock? But THIS is a new low to me.

The prospective client looks like he might be a younger person. Apparently, it happens a lot that young guys ask for a discount because they think they are 'hot'. Still no excuse to expose/shame them. I will take a PASS on Mr. Wolf.

He was on my must see, then the maybe list to now the dont' even call when he traveled to my hometown (and jacked up his rates compared to his NYC rates) list. And now this...wow!

Escorts and clients need to remember; this is a business. In business sometimes there are attempts at negoiations. Neither side should be offended. If a client asks for a better price the escort has every right to say no; politely.

What was the ecort trying to do? Has he become the "escort police" trying to punish someone who wanted to negotiate? There is only one word for this - outrageous! How dare an escort go so low as to possibly ruin a person's reputation!

We have this forum to take care of each other. The info and the overall caring attitude of the guys here is priceless.

If he did what he accused of doing, and published those photos for the world to see, he should not be in this business. All of us should help make that retirement/firing happen by boycotting this ecort's services.

Hey guys:

I hope you don't mind me chimming in again. I just looked at Austin Wolf's Twitter feed. What the hell!?! That poor client IS a victim. Austin Wolf is a major asshole.

Other escorts and porn stars might find it best to stop associating with this bastard before a house falls on them too. Guilt by association.

According to an interview I saw a while back, that Wolf escort estimated that he has sex with between 700 and 1000 guys each year.

Maybe the shear volume of his work finally pushed him over the edge of sanity.

No one can say his behavior relative to his postings and showing photos of the client who merely asked about a discount, is normal.

I seriously doubt he has sex with between 700 and 1000 guys a year. His dumb ass is exaggerating.

I don't think his professional house will fold, it might not even take a hit, he does have 83K followers after all, and gloats his own popularity frequently on twitter.

I'm reminded of Halle Berry. I think she must be one of the most glamorous , desired, and sought after women in the world. But then she ran a red light, hit some poor woman with a car, and she just kept on driving. That act revealed to me more about her character than anything a glossy media print or film ever could. How you treat people who are not in a position to fight back truly reveals who you are. She's still a A-lister of course. But you treat people with some compassion and respect because you want to be decent person, not because of the financial and public image consequences.

How someone treats people who 'don't matter' to them is a mark of their character.

Way off on a tangent from Mr Wolf: In the late 1940s Ben Chifley was the Australian prime minister. Like all prime ministers, Chifley had a private phone on his desk—the number known only to his wife, senior colleagues and advisers. It was, of course, a silent number, but apparently was only one digit removed from the number for the butcher shop in the nearby suburb of Manuka. Occasionally, the phone would ring and when the Prime Minister of Australia answered, he would find a housewife calling, wanting to leave her meat order for the weekend. And what would Chifley do? Of course, he would simply take the order for the chops, the leg of lamb, or whatever, saying nothing to the caller except, ‘Yes, madam’, then when she had rung off, he would phone the butcher himself and say, ‘It’s happened again’, and repeat the order.
