So where is JT Brooklyn aka Brooklyn Guy?

 

I have been asked to deliver the following message to the Forum as a number of posters have expressed concern regarding the absence of JT Brooklyn over the past several months.

 

JT is alive and well and on a tropical island.

 

So to those who are concerned JT is just fine. Also, with his 13,372 posts over the many years he still ranks number two in number of posts, second only to deej!

I just asked Deej about this the other day since JT's last post was in March. In fact I sent a Conversation to JT on the off chance he would check it even if he wasn't posting. I'm glad to hear he's doing well. Did he tell you why he went back to his old moniker?

Maybe he ran into Ginger and MaryAnne, fell in love, and the three of them lived happily ever after....

I did correspond with JT a couple of months ago and he was planing to be on vacation in a mainland tropical location Way South of the Border. I did send him a Thanksgiving greeting, but he has not responded. As such I assume that he is still away in the tropics and possibly in an area with limited internet access.

 

Note to Bozo: I know for certain that Ginger and MaryAnne are emphatically not his type... This would be more to his liking... ;)

I really do not remember much about him because he seldom ventured outside the Lounge, Deli and Gallery. But, it's very good to hear he is doing well.

Are you sure about that? He posted for years and years.

 

Is he really living in distant parts @whipped guy? I just thought he had left our sandbox here for greener pastures (to mix metaphors;))elsewhere.

Most of his posts must have been when HooBoy was in charge. Of the few posts available all are in the Lounge or the Deli

Well this is what I posted on the occasion of JT Brooklyn's 1,000th post. He had been so helpful to me

"Way back when" that I needed to thank him in some small way. He was such a font of knowledge and good humor here. Nobody new more about the inner workings of the "working guy" than JT! With his help I really learned a lot about the guys in this business and for that I will be forever grateful for his knowledge and expertise! So many guys that he vetted for me as they passed through NYC! Why did he have to relocated to an island!!!!!????? Damn you good buddy, but you know that I am happy for you as well! :)

I started hiring a few years before this site was in operation. I used a combination of escort agencies, like Premier here in Philadelphia, and Rounds, the hustler bar in NYC during the early 1990s, to learn how hiring works.

 

So perhaps I read a few of JT's posts occasionally, but I did not need his help by then.

Well JT would always ask guys passing through town if they would be comfortable with my type of activity. Being a specialist it was not easy to find guys who were capable and sane. It is still a challenge and even more so now! He directed me to guys who visited the City from Canada, England, and other parts of the Universe! Conversely he would often steer me away from certain individuals who were physically my type but could not get into my type of activities. JT knew it all!

I miss his random capitalized words

I did a study... there is deep Reasoning associated with the capitalizations. Plus don't Forget that at times ENTIRE WORDS were capitalized! Seriously JT is a sharp guy.

I do Remember questioning his practice years Ago On the forum.....yes, there Was some explanation ABOUT It at the Time that seemed sorta Adequate.....he Seemed very familiar WITH a wide variety OF topics.....

Yes Dave is Legendary, Amos is Famous. Unless you are looking for Pizza in Manhattan or BBQ in Indiana, and then Dave is Famous. Of course in Manhattan, Ray is even more famous, or at least has more pizza places which claim to be famous, than does Dave.

Yes Dave is Legendary, Amos is Famous. Unless you are looking for Pizza in Manhattan or BBQ in Indiana, and then Dave is Famous. Of course in Manhattan, Ray is even more famous, or at least has more pizza places which claim to be famous, than does Dave.

 

 

 

I think everyone here knows me for telling it like it is. Obviously he has left the "Forum sandbox" as well. At times one needs to move on.

 

As for "Famous Dave" I hope that he is more Legendary than Famous Ray in NYC, who indeed seems to have a pizza place just about everywhere in Manhattan. As far as I know JT never had any connection with Dave be it the Famous or Legendary version. Likewise JT never frequented Famous Ray either... just to cover all the bases.
