Like down_to_business post states, our society builds up these stereotypes. Some live by them and view them as fact; some ignore them, or a least try to see people as people; and some are obsessed by the taboo.

I didn't use the word Asian because as I stated, I am attracted to hairy men. Many Asian Arabic or Asian Indian men are hairy. Almost no Asian Chinese, Asian Japanese, or Asian Cambodians have hairy bodies.

Then it's better to refer to the particular ethnic backgrounds. "Oriental" is loaded, associated with subordinate status. (Not trying to pick a fight here, just trying to be respectful.)

Let me say that I know receiving a letter like that is hurtful. I'd feel the same way if someone said they didn't see Jews. I've had escorts tell me they don't see guys as fat as I am and that wasn't pleasant either. Just about no one one is totally free from prejudice. Haven't most of the best escorts on the Forum said at various times that they can focus on something with their clients that they are attracted to? In this case it looks like Spencer can't. While it may/does show a lack in Spencer because his dislike is so specific to one set of characteristics, I think as regards sex it is one of those special cases and he ought to be allowed his likes and dislikes. And even SCOTUS has said discrimination is legal in some cases. I'm not saying it isn't prejudiced. It is. But I have my own prejudices sexually. I kind of disagree with that. I don't think that's necessarily racist. Anymore then someone discriminating against obese people or those that are too young or too old. If you do a search of the forum, you will see that he has been discussed several times over the years. Yes some say it's preference, some say it's racist, and some even say it is somewhere in between. With all due respect, I have no desire to rehash this again. People have clearly chosen sides in this argument. I will say that I personally feel that he is a racist, and that's my opinion. Feel free to disagree, I have no problem with someone else saying otherwise, as I had no problem with him rejecting me. It is what it is, and there are more than enough escorts out there to choose from. IMHO it is simply a matter of moving on if an escort is not a good fit...hope you understand where I'm coming from.

Interesting. I was trying to arrange an appointment with Chris Hardy just the other night, and the messaging was friendly until I mentioned I was Asian, then he stopped texting altogether. Can you post a link to one of his ads that supports your post? The only one I found that stated any preference is on Hourboy where he states:

There is nothing ironic about the area code thing. When I went to change my phone number I was allowed to choose any area code in Los Angeles that I wanted. Doesn't mean he lives in that area. Regardless if you think Spencer is being racist, he apparently wants to give 100% to a session and if he think can not do that with someone of a different race, he has that right. Why would you want to be with him if he isn't going to be focused and interested in the session? Just move on and find someone else.

At the risk of turning this into "Vocabulary Lessons from rvwnsd," m.yi's statement does illustrate irony and, depending on the circumstance around the assignment of a 626 area code, coincidence. The irony is that Spencer, who does not serve Asian clients, has an area code that serves a large Asian population. The coincidence would be assignment by the phone company or by Google Voice (as opposed to Spencer choosing it) of a phone number located in that area code.

Perhaps this is a type of prejudice but I am all about the bubble butt. I don't care about the color associated with it. I guess in some ways I am an equal opportunity employer but for that one thing.

I've also wondered about this... Now I want to preface this with saying that my "type" is basically any guy that I find hot and attractive. In the past I've been attracted to guys from any race, age or body type. "If he's hot, he's hot!" I always say.

 

Having said that, there are certain physical traits that make it easier for me to be attracted: dark hair, bushy eyebrows, body hair, five o' clock shadow, strong nose. And I do love (but not prefer) the look of olive colored skin.

 

But I only want to have sex with men and only men. Does this make me misogynistic?

I just pose the question to show that I don't know whether a sexual preference or dislike for certain races sits in the realm of racism.

 

There's a similar debate about trans people too. I've seen gay men be called transphobic because they said they wouldn't have sex with a male to female trans person. But... They're gay, so if the trans person has completely become female, isn't it to be expected that a gay man won't be attracted sexually?

 

But I do think that guys that make sweeping refusals based on race are definitely missing out! Beauty, hotness and cuteness can be found in any race, age or body type.
