In looking up Hottentot, i discovered that this may be considered offensive. So I apologize to any speakers of the Khoekhoe language or members of the tribe and to anyone else who may be offended now, in the past or in perpetuity, I must admit, my awareness of the word comes only from another old movie in which the the Cowardly Lion says something to the effect of: "And what makes the Hottentot so hot? Courage." Guess I need to stop referencing 75 year old movies.

There'a another musical reference to Hottentots in Nunsense (of all things) - in a song where the nuns describe their (dubious) history as missionaries working with lepers, there's a lyric about "Hottentots with rotten tots / in baskets on each mother's head." (Of course, in this case, "tots" is with the traditional definition/pronunciation, lol.)

good for all the 12 year olds here!

HEY. Not something I would ever articulate verbally, just a writing short hand. (THAT I spelled right :p) And FYI (there's another) 90% of the Nomenclature and tech we ALL use (like this message forum ITSELF) is determined by 12 yo's. Embrace it or become our parents who we have to write down instructions for to turn their cable box and TV on together.

This has at least 3 meanings.

#1. When I 1st saw it I thought 'for a wife' = 'as a wife' --He's always been a big animal lover.

#2. Traded his wife in as the guy on the right thinks.

#3. Obtained it as a present to give to his wife which may be what the guy on the left means.

haven't defended noah in some time. quit twisting facts fox news. also, nice to see that val keeps his lips on your butt with his likes. lol

benjamin on the other hand is a personal favorite and one of the best out there. that's not gonna change anytime soon dear. deal :)

I say fly him in on a private jet, and spread some aloe on him:

  1. I love to be out in the sun as much as possible. I work part time as a wakeboard instructor, so getting tan is just a part of the job. I do use 80 spf spray on sunblock and I still get burned from time to time. I will apply it more the twice but in the Texas sun there really is no escaping.

I like to use good ol' fashion aloe, I have a plant on my porch and when I get burned i just put some of that on my skin and its better then any 50$ moisturizing cream.

Noah, you're always welcome at the ranch where I would gladly rub aloe on you anytime, day or night.

Knowing personal information of an escort can put one in a bit of an awkward situation. Sometimes, it’s knowing discrepancies in the escort’s ad or his forum posts that just repeat the ad’s inaccuracies. And sometimes, it’s knowing information (such as drug use, criminal charges, etc.) that would make those potential clients that think with their big head have second thoughts about hiring him; things that never make it to the glowing reviews, but aren’t easily brought to light in the forum.

You couldn't possibly get more awkward than my situation. My primary medical doctor is a fantastic doctor who is gay and has a lot of LGBT patients. A few times I have been in his waiting room with Miami based gay porn actors/escorts sitting next to me. Try not to stare and play naive when you're talking to them and they're drop dead gorgeous! LOL

That's a different issue to knowing the true identity of an escort whom you have hired under another name. You're quite entitled (I would have thought) to talk to the men in your doctor's surgery unless the only reason you know them is because you had hired them previously! By all means chat them up!

You just smile and say "hello." Sometimes it goes someplace interesting, lots of times it doesn't. There really isn't that much at stake.

There is a professional colleague of mine (like, we've actually worked together several times) who regularly advertises on Backpage and occasionally RB as well. I've seen him (socially) several times since I began to notice his ads - I've never let on that I know. Part of me would be really interested in hiring him, but I somehow feel awkward about how to approach him. Knowing him, we'd probably have a good laugh over things and then wind up having a nice session. But something's holding me back.

Update. I finally got bold enough to talk to my friend and to confess I know about his ads, and also that I've been tempted to respond. He was intrigued and gracious - but he also said upfront that he prefers to keep things separate (i.e. he's not wanting to escort for friends/colleagues), and I totally understand. (He also intimated that not that many people from his "ordinary" circle of friends know about his side job lol.) What's fun, as an upshot, is that he's been very open about sharing things about his sexual side with me (we even talked a little about what I would have been interested in doing with him, lol), and I think he likes being able to be open like that. So in a sense, it's brought us closer, even if we'll never get to the physical closeness I might have liked lol.

And you know what? I'm so relieved to have made that step. It all feels so much better now - I don't feel like I'm hiding something from him anymore. And though I wouldn't turn him down if he changed his mind, I also realize I don't feel the urge to hire him quite as much. So it's all worked out well.

Depends on how you found it. I Googled the phone number of a guy I was contemplating hiring. It brought up the business website of a graphic arts freelancer in NYC with a link to his LinkedIn profile. Voila! Real name, educational background, work history. Didn't think that was what he intended, so after we established a bit of a rapport I told him. He was grateful (but not really all that fun). Odd, I figured he wasn't the sharpest crayon in the box, but he did come across as pretty smart. Still . . . .

Guess this gives new meaning to playing doctor?
