A way to warn other escorts of a repeat time waster

I want to know how to tell the escorts here about a time waster. He undermined my trip to Phoenix in 2011 by canceling a multi-hour appointment the day of the appointment. Fortunately, I was still home in Charlotte, so I stayed home and just ate the cost of the plane ticket. It's been years, so when he accidentally slipped through my email filters I decided to give him a chance now that I am trying to re-establish a connection to Dallas. He had a three-hour appointment that he cancelled just now, but this time I am already in Dallas. I am literally scrambling to replace the lost hours and cover the costs of getting here. My other appointments were supposed to be the profit, not the overhead. I may have already replaced one or two of those hours, but I cannot tell yet, and I have no idea about covering the third. How do I do this? I want him outed. And I want him outed now. Can I do this here, or do I do it on my blog? One way or the other, I want other escorts to know who he is, so that he cannot do this to them as well.

There are some sites (BlackListedJohn, etc.) that exist for this purpose. Maybe check that out?

 

You knew this guy was dodgy when you booked the trip (apparently without a deposit), and sure 'nuff, he screwed you. I'm sorry for that.

Unfortunately or fortunately, for discretion, Daddy & the moderators do not allow personal info to be posted. Although a client can mention an escort by his working name (real names are a no no) and ask others interested to PM them for other info or details, there is nothing on this forum that allows escorts to out a particular client as a flake or time-waster. I don't know, but I would guess that quite a few fellow professionals of yours do follow your blog. In addition, if you just provide a link to your blog here on the forum, any escort who checks for info here would be able to read any entry you choose to post on your blog. I'm sure you've already thought of these points once you got over your frustration and disgust for this flake of a client but I'm always willing to point out the obvious.

I just had the opposite problem - I booked an escort (in town so no travel) for 3 hours, planned my day out of work, and he cancelled 20 minutes prior to the appointment as I was on my way. Just sent me a text canceling, no explanation, no return calls, emails, or texts. Tho this was my first time with him, he is well-known, many reviews, never a hint of this. I know it happens but an explanation would certainly be in order.

I tried it years ago but I would have maybe 12 confirmed appointments in for a 4 day tour and 6 would cancel last minute, no show or want to reschedule to the end of the week when I was going home (sorry I can't see you Tuesday but if you had been here Friday it would have been great - yes we've all heard that excuse).

I stopped touring when I ended up coming home from a 4 day tour with £150 and losing £500 of work at home. Yes I made over £700 in Manchester but it costs me £100 in trains, underground and taxis, £70 a night for the hotel and £100 for food, toiletries and so when there on tour it would cost me around £550 for 5 nights (I always checked in late Sunday to be available first thing Monday not 3pm).

 

Guys like us to tour but they don't appreciate that it costs one heck of a lot of money to do so and we need to pay our bills back home as well as the day to day expenses there.

Devon, are you sure that this is a client? Is it not possible that it is another escort attempting to disrupt your travel? I know of several escorts who travel that have this as a recurring problem. If it is indeed a client, then KS has given the best advice, if not, then that presents another set of problems altogether. Good luck.

.........and believe me, that does happen but it can happen both ways. A well reviewed Manchester escort toured Newcastle and put feedback onto one of my online adverts saying how wonderful I was and on the review put a link to another of his favourite guys which was a page listing his tour dates. I asked for the review to be removed and upon investigation the IP address of the reviewer matched the last IP address of the escort.

I am sorry to read it happened to you. The issue of clients mistreating escorts is a serious one. Cancelling an appointment last minute is probably the least of it. I am hearing more and more stories of clients shamelessly demanding 'services' that were not discussed and forcing escorts to perform these 'services' because of a threat of a bad review or withholding payment. I spoke with a young escort, new to the business, who agreed to bareback sex with a client (for a higher fee) because of financial need. I wonder sometimes who the people are who propose/suggest/demand such things. Think for a moment about the long term damage - physical and emotional - that this does to a fellow human being. We all know about the suicides of well known porn stars/escorts. I wonder sometimes what the suicide ratio is for lesser known escorts, guys who have a hard time 'making it' and therefore are being forced to accept abuse.

 

Your question, Devon, is a timely one. There is a definite need to establish a website or a forum where such clients can be exposed.

Whether it be an escort or a client, if one has no respect and/or is so self absorbed that he has no consideration for anyone except himself, this crap will happen. The "It's all about me" society is growing and I think there will be more disappointments ahead for clients and escorts alike. I've thought about this a lot and the only way that I see to minimize the chances of getting screwed (not in a good way) is to keep my hiring to a small group of escorts that I know and trust. I know it's every escort's dream to have a small group of clients that he knows and trusts that hire him frequently rather than taking every call that comes in. It's easier for clients to build their group, for sure. Much tougher for an escort.

Someone emailed me suggesting that I review clients at M4RN. I did that; however, it is so vague that there is nothing that offers an explanation as to WHY I am giving these two clients only 1 star out of 5.

Well when Tristan came to town, he spoke personally several times as well as by text to an older gentleman who wanted to book, and so TB blocked off some time for him. There were calls to verify, all confirmed, and then he canceled at the last minute. It messed up his travel schedule. Tristan realized almost immediately that it was a set-up. I think some of these local guys are very territorial.

For the people here I have already met, I will continue with everything as usual. New clients in Dallas? Well... their appointments aren't confirmed until a 50% deposit is received. I have built enough of a base here to be able to be picky. These particular cancellations are infuriating, but this is not anywhere near enough to keep me out of Dallas.
