Hello Gentlemen,

 

First off, I'd like to apologize for the delayed response. As some of you already know, my grandfather whom I was very close with passed away Friday evening. He had been in the ICU for 2 weeks, and after things were not getting better, we had all of the family come to town to say goodbye. We took him off of the ventilator and let him pass on. It has been hard to celebrate this holiday season and my birthday knowing this moment was coming, but he is no longer in pain and I am grateful to have had the chance to say my last goodbye.

 

I would like to thank all of you here, even those that didn't vote for me. You men are whom we are here for; without you, we would not be successful or strive to be better. It's all about making a connection. I have made a connection with every one of you here that I have seen, whether it was from a first review that was eloquently narrated in steamy detail (like reading a porn scene), or even those where sex was never involved in the meeting.

 

I would also like to congratulate the others who won this year. I have already chatted with Dane, and - unbeknownst to me - the runner up is supposed to service the EOY. I guess I have been slacking the past three years; sorry Ace, Tristan, and Chris. Looks like I owe you one - My bad.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather. The grandparent/grandchild relationship can be very special. My grandparents died in the 1980s, and I still think of them and dream of them often.
