...and he'll probably call you a dingus fruitloop!

I can go back to hoping I get a Zach of my own one day.... :)

Just don't forget that if your own Zach is like this Zach he'll be ready to go bonkers at the drop of a hat, or maybe at the drop of a "media mogul!!!"

Zankie split, may yet reunite in Jury House

This blog predicts the cuddles are coming to an end.

http://zankiegrance.tumblr.com/

Yep...Zankie is no longer in the house! Frankie said he had to nominate Zach to try to save his own (Frankie's) game! Zach is in the Jury House now and Frankie's still working it!!! Who knows, Frankie may go next week and if so, who knows what might happen when Zankie is reunited in the Jury House! Zach said Frankie was still his bestie and the player he liked the most so had nothing negative to say about Frankie during his exit interview with Julie Chen. This may be his love of a lifetime!!! ;)

"The Jury House" I take it is some purgatory where they sit in some kind of judgment, but still get to cuddle. Right?

Well yeah, if you call a luxurious house with a swimming pool and all the other Malibu type extras without cameras filming 24/7 purgatory! In a Big Brother season with 16 original houseguests, after the first 5 evictees are taken out, leaving 11 houseguests, the next 9 become the jury and they are the ones who will decide by vote who, of the final 2 left in the house, will be the winner of Big Brother and be awarded the $500,000! Since there is actual privacy in “The Jury House” there is certainly the possibility of cuddling and much more ;) if there are two consenting adults!

Nothing since?

Well, Frankie was finally evicted as the 9th evictee to go to the jury house last week so he and Zach will finally have the chance to reconnect and maybe more before the season finale this coming Wednesday, September 24th when the 9 jury members will vote on who will win Big Brother this year!!!

Correction!!!

Correction: Frankie was out 7th, Caleb (metrosexual cowboy, also known as "beast-mode cowboy) was out 8th, which leaves the final 3, Victoria (Kim Kardashian wanna be), Cody (underwear model) and Derrick (the undercover cop,) one of whom will be sent to the jury during finale night, becoming the 9th member of the jury but never getting to experience the luxuries of the jury house!!!

So with Zankie reunited for a week, anything can happen in the privacy of the jury house! ;)

Season 16 has the best looking and likeable group of men.

I actually agree with you here. Season 16 has been a bore for many Big Brother fans this year because not only were all the guys pretty hot (except Donny who was probably the fan favorite but played a terrible social game!), but there was very little real hate/drama this year because everyone, including the ladies, got on splendidly and really liked each other.

Many fans hate it when all the houseguests vote as a house in every eviction but only Zach, Christine, Frankie and Caleb (and maybe Nichole) actually were blindsided and with minimum fuss or hatred. It was all just a part of puppet-master Derrick's master plan! I do believe most of these guys/gals will be close outside the house after it's all over on Wednesday!

Not only the eye candy, but I enjoyed this season immensely (so I guess outright conflict and casting of troublemakers aren't required to keep my interest). I do think, however, that this season's winner will be a unanimous vote for Derek. He played a perfect game and the others had no chance- plus he made it look so easy! I don't even think there is a chance that both Cody and Victoria wouldn't take Derek to the final two where they will get slaughtered. If Cody wins the last HOH, he could win by taking Victoria to the end (which would be smart) but Derek played such a good game that I don't think Cody even sees Derek as a threat to beat him (which of course Derek would wipe the floor with either heads up).

Looking forward to final Wednesday night and the reactions to Derek's victory and the other houseguests reaction to learn he is an undercover cop! I also am looking forward to seeing how Zach and Frankie did at their reunion in the jury house.

I seem to think the only sour grapes votes would come from Donny, Christine and/or Frankie but you can never tell! Derrick has certainly played an almost perfect game!

A couple of thoughts.

1. Caleb revealed in his exit interview with Jeff that if Victoria is one of the final two she will automatically get the votes of the other Bomb Squad members. Seems they made a pact that if any of them bring Victoria to the final two she will automatically get the votes.

2. I think crazy personalities of Beast Mode and Zach made the season watchable, along with Cody's looks.

3. Franky has been a controversial house guest lately. His sister's manager Scooter Braun is a executive producer of a new CBS show which got a lot of plugs this year on BB16. Scooter is also Bieber's manager. Maybe Frankie was a bit of a plant and that is OK with me. Frankie obviously knew the game and worked his ass off to win. Good for Frankie, but Frankie was constantly touching, butt patting and hugging those straight guys. Seems to have bothered Cody and Beast Mode a lot. The plugs from Bieber and Ariana could have helped keep BB in the social media buzz all summer and I think that helped keep BB ratings up. It's all about ratings and the 18-49s. BB consistently led the weekly 18-49 demos, often taking the top 3 slots (above America's Got Talent and other shows). CBS in the past has not renewed the show until they see how the ratings for the current season are doing. Last year there we had the "racist" controversy that kept the show buzz going all summer. And the summer before we had Dan. And the summer before that Rachel.

This year CBS shelled out tons of money for the upgrades to HD, which tells me they are making a commitment to future seasons.

I also think they are lining Jeff from BB11 and BB13 to take Julie's place if the show continues to perform well and Julie ages (just my thought, no proof).

Unfortunately, most house guests will fade into obscurity. I think we will see more from Caleb, Zach, Donny and Frankie. I think those four guys really made an impact and have a lot of personality.

Julie mentioned in an interview with Hollywood Reporter (or Variety) that BB being a summer series their budget is low. She said if the show is given a fall cycle, their prize money could increase. Tells me there has been discussion of having other cycles. I would be all for that.

Tonight is the final BBAD on TVGN. I wish BBAD would go back to Showtime, but TVGN will get BBAD again next summer. The house guests have already been put on inside lockdown (no more backyard.) Should be a great finale tomorrow night and I am a fan for life. Love my Big Brother.

I think your observations are pretty accurate Jon. The one time they had a fall season, it was a great flop per the ratings but I found it fascinating because it had "Crazy James" who did some pretty hot gay porn with Cocky Boys before he entered the house. :o Unfortunately he has now faded into obscurity.

As for the finale this year, I thought it was the most satisfying since Dan Gheesling won his season with Memphis as his wing man --- Cody being a gorgeous wing man for the much deserved winner this year, Derrick! All in all a most excellent and satisfying season of Big Brother U.S. for me, what with the male eye candy and the scarcity of any real mean-ness or back-biting in this house.

I loved seeing all of the reactions to Team America by the other houseguests! Cody was so cute in his bit of being shocked and surprised!!! Although Jocasta cannot forgive Derrick for "fake praying" with her and Donny aligned himself with Cody as a last attempt at having any social game, I do believe this group will actually stay in touch with each other except for maybe the first five voted out!

Until next summer!

I think this show and some extent Survivor are interesting in that it is common at the end that a decision has to be made as to try to win or to remain loyal to the person with whom you have worked. Cody would have won had he stayed with Victoria and given Derrick the boot. At least he would have had a better chance, yet he stayed with Derrick. Hard figure what one would do if put oneself in that position, but it seems more usual for the final decision to be based on loyalty rather than giving onself the best chance to win. This is usually juxtaposed with a decision to boot the third member of the rulling triumvirate, usually when there are four left.

As Jon noted, if Cody had taken Victoria instead of Derrick, the jury would have voted her the winner, not only from Caleb's statement in his exit interview with Jeff but also mentioned in the jury discussion with Dr. Will on the finale show. So even if Derrick had won that final HOH, he would have chosen Cody and not Victoria. Otherwise, your statement about booting the third member of the ruling triumvirate in the final four (in this season Caleb: Beast-mode cowboy  ) is spot on!

I believe Cody would have won the vote not withstanding the idea that the votes would be pledged to Victoria. When push came to shove, i think Cody would have gotten the two votes he got and probably Nicole, Christine and likely Caleb and Frankie.

I feel differently.

When it came down to Derrick and Cody to fight it out for the final HOH, my guess was that Derrick would wind up winning.

There was no doubt in my mind that Cody would take Derrick to the final two, which I thought Derrick would win (which he did).

However, if Derrick won the final HOH, there's no doubt in my mind that he would have taken Victoria to the final two. His #1 objective was to win the game, and loyalty to Cody could have cost him the game.

Interesting perspectives.

My opinion is that no doubt Cody would take Derrick and no doubt Derrick would take Cody to the final two- likewise no doubt Victoria takes Derrick to the final but let's be real- no chance that Victoria would win HoH. Like PK, no doubt in my mind that had Cody took Victoria to finals Cody wins. In all three Derrick scenarios, Derrick wins. In mad props to his gameplay, Cody had no clue of the sheer dominance that was Derrick, and didn't see him near as big of a threat to win that he really was (he probably saw it as a 50/50 chance). Cody had no idea how far Victoria was in his pocket or the deep personal relationships he formed with the other contestants. Cody also lost a vote he had from Christine by his stupid answer to a question about one of his best moves was backstabbing Christine. That should of been a sure vote for him on the jury had he kept his mouth shut about it. This also would have no effect, however, on the actual result.

All in all, the game ended how it should have... Derrick deserved to win, Cody deserved the $50K consolation prize (for his loyalty to Derrick), and Donny deserved the fan favorite prize.

In my opinion the worst moves of the season (besides the Cody brain freeze I cited above) were when:

1- Frankie turns on Zach

2- Caleb turns on Frankie

Had these 2 moves not been made- the outcome very well could have been different.

Once again, however, great job Big Brother- I enjoyed this season a lot (one of the very best- especially with the casting). Only 1 complaint from me is drop "Team America" completely from the show. Some of the "missions" got way too involved with the outcome of the game. If you insist on doing this again, stick to missions like 'convince the house that there is a rodent in it', NOT missions like 'convince the house to nominate a strong player'.

Cody/Derrick loyalty

All I can go on is that in his exit interviews Derrick pointed out that the day before the finale he put it to Victoria that if he won final HOH he would have to take Cody to final two even though he considered Victoria his very best friend in the house. He said he had promised to take her as far as he could and got her to the final three as last woman standing but he made Cody a promise day 2 that if they were both in final three he would take Cody over the other houseguest. This actually was on the live feeds. Victoria told him she understood and he had her jury vote no matter what.

As for Cody, I think his personality, much like Caleb's, made him completely loyal to Derrick the entire game, therefore the possibility of taking the weakest player (Victoria) in order to win was just not in his wheelhouse!

JMHO

I think that in these situations the contestants have been together for so long and are so out of touch with the idea of the 1/2 million dollars being real and likely life changing, that they have really become incapable of "playing the game" and revert back to loyalties which mostly will be gone once they are all back to the mundane lives they live.
