Big, clunky watches of any kind are not aesthetically pleasing, even if they are not white and are very expensive and complicated pieces of machinery by Rolex.

are these some sort of current popular thing for trendy people?.....

gimme my $20 Casio from Target that never breaks, never needs a battery, keeps time, takes a lickin' and I'm happy!

I just bought a $20 Casio a couple of days ago, and so far I am very pleased with it. It is a small, round black case/white face analog watch, with nothing extra but a second hand. But I did have to wade through a lot of other big, clunky Casio digital watches to find it.

I keep thinking about buying a watch, but even lower end Cartiers are expensive. And it would serve little purpose, since I've always used the display on my phone for the time.

But it's the only piece of jewelry that's fully acceptable for men.

Well there are crosses, St's medals, cuff links, tie clips, rings, and mezuzahs too.

I used to wear a mezuzah in junior high. But I think I lost it in PE once- or someone stole it (we only had locked baskets- not lockers to keep our personals stuff in).

But in general I'm not a fan of jewelry as I've stated before. I'm not even that fond of big, overly large jewelry on women either.

And about why I brought up the white watch- there is an escort I think usually in Las Vegas. I can't remember his name- blond muscular. There was some talk of him being much older than his stated age. But someone on the Forum chimed in and said he still looked the same. I think he may advertise as straight- but possibly his ad says versatile. In any case his -st pictures on Rentboy were nice- natural bodybuilder-ish, clean-cut, blond. He then posted some new pictures. One of them was him wearing a cap, shades, big clunky white wristwatch, and maybe an earring. After seeing those pictures - I just went ugh. It reminded me of Omer- the Israeli porn star who used to escort. Handsome guy but entirely too much bling for my taste. Give me a guy without jewelry any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Gar ... you get into licking watches? Is this a new trend Ive missed? ;)

That was watches can't be licked by an indefinite someone. I am obviously a definite someone. Nothing was ever said about me personally licking watches. ;)
