Guys,

My trip to RIO is about 20 days away. I have talked with a few other posters and I want some more feedback. I took the opportunity when I traveled to NYC to post my impressions of THE CITY and it's people in the Jackhammer91406 takes a bite out of the BIG APPLE thread. I am tempted to do the same during my RIO trip as Jackhammer's IN-BEDded RIO Report. Should I do this? and if so, where? The Lounge (where my NYC trip was posted) or SOuth of the Border? There are those who would prefer I not ever post here again..so feel free to pipe up with that opinion as well. (you know who you are).

If I remember correctly, you didn't wait til you returned for that full report last time. And you were a good writer with nice insights on a lot of our interesting friends around here. I, for one, vote that you report whenever you are otherwise occupied while you're on the trip and flesh it out - so to speak - when you get back. And in the South of the Border section.

Find an internet cafe. I know they're there because a friend wrote to me continuously that way when he was in Rio.

 

If you post it in South of the Border, post a note here to let people know it's going on. Some of us rarely read that section. ;-)

There is an internet cafe that is reasonably priced between the

Atlantico hotel, the one most folks here stay in and the Marriott a few blocks away. Head towards the beach, turn right at the main drag. It's a hole in the wall just before the Marriott.

 

The Atlantico has a computer in the lobby but they charge outrageous rates and when I was there they could not get the internet to work in my room, so I bagged out and moved to the Marriott where the broadband worked splendidly.

 

Personally, I prefer Sao Paulo. Although not as beautiful as Rio, certainly more cosmopolitan. And the sauna's are larger and nicer. I feel perfectly safe in Sao Paulo and the internet is not something that people think you wear on your head at McDonalds. Rio is probably the most beautiful city I've ever seen -- from a distance, like on Sugarloaf mountain, or the plane leaving. Up close - Tijuana.

 

If you're there with the Tri and the party-guys from here, I'm sure you'll have a splendid time, internet or no.

I think that means you do "Meet & Greet" in the lobby so that Thom`s appts don`t get doubled, tripled, quadrupled or maybe - yes.

Smart way to do it is grab the most desirables for auditions.

I would really like to see you continue the tradition on your visit to Rio, and I think you should post them here in the lounge section as I feel it is more appropriate than in a section that is dedicated to SA escorts.

I've been thinking about this all day and it kind of bothered me.

 

Trilingual and the other guys that have made the Esocrt's South Of The USA forum a really interesting and informative place took a hit below the belt and I know it was probably unintentional.

 

But if we say, "put it here in the Lounge, we don't go there", then what's the purpose in having extra forums specializing in areas that might not otherwise be discovered.

 

I, too am looking forward to seeing Jackhammer's exploits -- in the South America lounge - where it belongs. Deej had a good idea for those who do not often venture out of their playground -- post a note here that it's there.

 

And who knows, you may just learn something facinating about another part of the world and broaden your horizons. I know I did when I went there and eventually went to Brazil twice and had a wonderful time both times because of the "heads-up" that forum provided. In fact I'll be returning soon to escape the New York and European winter.

In regards to the Escorts South of the Border Forum. As for me I sometimes have limited time to visit here. With all the Forums I just don't have time to scan them all. So after reading the Daily reviews, I mainly hit the Lounge, Deli, Escort Travels (to see if someone of interest will cross my path) and Strip Clubs since I am a Montreal and "G" fan. If I've got more time on my hands (i.e. stuck in a hotel with internet access and no Escort company) I may scan the other Forums. As more Forums have been created my review of those topics have become limited. An Example is the Politics forum. When Politics was allowed in the Lounge I would sometimes add my 2 cents, but since it has it's own Forum I just don't take the time to scan through it.

 

So my lack of visits there is not a slam of Tri or anyone else. Even though visiting Rio is on my list it is not real high, I still haven't made it to San Francisco or Boston yet. But the few visits I have made to the forum has "peaked" my interest, I especially like the picture links of some of the Hot guys down there. I also expect Jackhammer's adventure tales shall peak my interest even more.

KY - You sound a little like you're scanning each forum individually. Have you tried the Read New feature? It is a great way to at least look at all of the titles of the threads in all of the sections. For example, I rarely open up anything in the Escort Travels section, but I love scanning the titles and seeing who's going where.

I will be in Brasil for a month and with the M4Mers in Rio during the latter part of this month. In fact, a week from today, if all goes as planned, I'll be in Sao Paulo which commences my journey to "Paradise" as Brasil is referred by many here.

 

Presently, I haven't decided to post here periodically or wait until I return and post in installments in the proper area-- "South of the Border"! I do hope Jackhammer will acknowledge my suggestion; he and I have corresponded privately thru emails in the past about our impending trip; I've truly enjoyed what he has stated and has contributed.

 

To all of u who have limited time to read, perhaps u could peruse this site now since u are awaiting specifics from a very special person.

How long does it take to scroll down per site/forum to see what might catch your eye?

I, too, vote for posting in the Escorts South forum. There's actually LOTS of stuff in that forum that has little to do with escorts but everything about the countries "South of the U.S.A." Just add a small posting in the Lounge (or the Deli) saying something like "Rio is great! Check out the full posting in the Escorts South forum!" Anyone who's interested or enjoys your writing will head there to have a look! And there should be a lot interest, because I think this is going to be the largest M4M gathering anywhere, so far!!! :9

I appreciate the feedback guys. I guess I will have some things to write about since My pimp...er...Tomcal...is so dedicated. So, I think I will do as Hooboy, Tri, Axiom and others suggest. I will post in the other forum for the most part, with an updated notice in this forum each time I add a post to the other thread. I am so excited about being IN-BEDed in RIO, it's hard to function at work. For all intents and purposes, I am there already in my head, or so my boss says.

Yeah, I was being a bit selfish when I suggested you might want to write some of the thread from down there. Certainly, I don't think that you need to post a reminder on this forum every time you add to the other. Just one when you begin the thread should be enough of an alert, IMHO.
