At a nice restaurant last night, there was a man who was dressed so nicely in a suit and tie, with nicely styled white hair and a good tan, who dined alone. Now I don't know if he dressed for dinner only, or had an engagement, but I was struck at how nice he looked. Then, at Stella's, another man in a suit and tie had the two hottest guys there hanging on his every word.

Since I haven't worn a suit in years, can you guys tell me if this is really the most effective way to get the hottest guys? Are casual Fridays a thing of the past?

I've never found it necessary to wear a nice suit of clothes when hiring an escort from this site. In fact, my best escort experiences have been when we're both wearing our birthday suits. :+

In the past 2 years I've only worn a suit for weddings, funerals, and job interviews. I used to wear a coat and tie when attending the theatre or opera but even that is now a "casual" thing where I live. Plus, most of the theaters now are so hot you'd sweat your ass off if you wore a suit. x(

My work environment is also very casual and every day is like casual Friday.

I really enjoy dressing up for dinner and a night on the town. But I haven't been to a gay place in years where that wouldn't be considered strange. I can't imagine it would help me pick up a good looking guy.

Where I live and work casual Friday's have given way to casual everyday. I haven't worn a suit or even a jacket and tie in over a decade!

Maybe that is why I don't have two hot guys hanging on to my every word, then, I usually don't dine alone either :)

Some might be attracted to a well dressed man. Though every picture doesn't tell the full story. I'll stay casual and comfortable.

I recently saw a feature on one of the news magazine TV shows that casual fridays are giving way to UNIFORMS in the corporate world.

The NYC social scene is a little different than most of the country. You'll see people dressing for dinner or the theater. Making an event of it.

One of the bad things about living in CA is that you have to wear long pants a few days of the year. ;-)

Wearing "California Casual" attire at Chicago's Lucky Horseshoe a week or two ago, I found that a sure-fire way to have the hottie of my choice paying a lot of attention was to have cash on the bar and occasionally let some of it accidentally find its way into his g-string. }(

Hey deej, why don't you write a review on the Lucky Horseshoe for the Male Strip Club FAQ. It hasn't been reviewed and I'm sure Cooper would appreciate it.

I was also glad to see you got to meet Daniel during your return visit to Chiacgo. Sounds like you had as much FUN with him as I did earlier this year.

As for Suits, I have seen several men wear suits to the Unicorn Club in Indy. But, what gets the boys attention was not the suit but the $ that you stick in their g-string.

I may. I don't normally visit that forum, but maybe tonight's the night.

Call it democracy in action, and you vote with your dollars. If you vote often enough, you'll land a hanging Chad. }(

RE: Lucky Horseshoe

The men in suits I've always admired were the ones who could wear one and still seem casual about it. Probably because they fit so well. Probably because they were made to order. Probably cause they had a lot of dough.

PINSTRIP Suits

Suits make me nervous, because there is usually an attorney hiding in them!

I love to get dressed up and wear a nice suit, or a nice topcoat in the winter(got a Ralph Lauren coat at Burlington Coat Factory that originally sold for 700 bucks for less than 200 recently). I feel more confident in a good suit of clothes, though it really isn't the thing anymore, and every day where I work is casual day.
