Oh no you di'int Mr. E!

But yeah, I did. Surgery tomorrow on right arm.

Miss Tyro was a typical female driver today and fucked some shit up. Namely her car and her arm.

Be safe out there.

Is this the vid you are talking about? It is laugh-out-loud stuff.

Well Mr. "E" I can't believe you went there either...Ms. "T" is not your typical anything. I wish you a speedy recovery baby, and we bid farewell to your baby Ms. Lexie. Cars can always be replaced, you on the other hand can not. Glad that you are safe and we await the details of the surgery.

Luv Ya "T"

I was shocked to learn of the accident, and given the severity, grateful that the damage to ms T was not more severe than it was.

I'll join the chorus of wishes for a speedy recovery!

Tyro -- Sorry to hear you got injured! Definitely hope you recover quickly. Assuming you're right handed, I hope you can learn to use your left for . . . umm . . . nevermind.

Many thanks for all the public and private messages sent my way. By all reports, today's surgery went well. I am home enjoying Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie, RC Cola, Percocet, and this forum -- where some of the best folks I know have supported me throughout the past two years.

Thank you.

To a very speedy recovery - don't skimp on the percocet…take it when you need it. Lot's of docs say be careful, you'll become addicted. Not so.

When you're ready to car shop, let us know what chariot you decide so we can have more fun!

The pain should be at its worst t today. Tomorrow, less so. Next ay, better. Postoperative day four, should prett y much go away.

Do not use Aleve or Motrin without checking with your orthopod: they can decrease bone healing.

These days, they should have prescribed oxycodone instead of Percocet. At 325 mg acetaminophen per pill, you really shouldn't take more than 9 or 10 a day. Daily dose of acetaminophen should not be more than 3,000 mg a day.

Sweet!!! What say you Ms."T"

T - tho your doc may not mention it, look into HGH - it is a great adjunct for healing, especially for injuries like yours. I hesitate to say this, but athletes use it all the time (and much of the time they abuse it) but, especially after surgical repairs, it's great. Also, if you have access to a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, that also greatly improves and speeds the healing process by increasing the oxygen-carrying capacity of your blood stream.

While you are laid up, google these items. Hope this helps.

Hey Tyro, how are you feeling?

Yes, too much acetaminophen is really hard on your liver, though it's probably not a problem if you only take it for a few days.

The doctor can give you a new Rx. Find a pharmacy that delivers by Googling

[your_zipcode] pharmacy deliver

Ask the doctor to call in the new Rx to that pharmacy.

Hey everybody!

I am in a lot less pain overall. My boss has been super-understanding about needing time off. I have someone staying here to take care of me, colleagues dropping off food, and my "cyber-homies" wishing me well from afar. I think many bases are pretty well covered! :)

Thanks again for all the support.
