I was in Chicago last year for the July 4th holiday and weekend following and had a great time staying in the Boystown area (North Halstead). Ask the guys around you and they'll be more than happy to send you in the right direction up or down the boystown strip.

The thing to remember about Gay Chicago's website is they don't update it until the print edition hits the streets. (Mostly.) So it can lag behind if an update is delayed.

 

And since it's literally the same content as the magazine, anything that comes in after the print deadline just doesn't appear.

 

I've been kidding Big Daddy for several years he needs to join the 21st century, but hell, his formula has worked for more than 25 years. Not many gay magazines have been around that long so who am I to argue? <shrug>

 

They still publish every week of the year, still do manual pasteup for the book, and it's still out every Wednesday. And they still get more eyes every week than any of the competitors who just can't seem to get major market share.

 

He's doing SOMETHING right. ;-)
