Another gay bias attack in Midtown??? Victim Edin Sol?

Despite how far we've come in gaining acceptance and tolerance, it's almost unbelievable these attacks can still happen --- and in NYC, twice in less than a week! I, for one, have never felt safer in this city but this latest incident is an unfortunate reminder of the ignorance that still exists. One of the victims today appears to be pornstar/escort Edin Sol. If I'm mistaken, I apologize. Regardless, it shouldn't happen to anyone and I wish the victims a speedy recovery and hope all the assailants are brought to justice!

Very glad the transit police arrived to stop the attack, arrest the criminals and it appears the DA charged them appropriately (one positive is i wonder if that would have happened 50 years ago). I think many of us struggle to understand these events because we've never been exposed to this type of violence and couldn't imagine beating another person the way these two creeps did - I think it takes a brain that's way too many cells short of even "average". A very long sentence will hopefully result and I'm guessing some of the super muscular prisoners aren't straight and there may be some interesting types of justices dispensed on the convicts. By the way, what the hell is an "Asllan Berisha" (one of the attackers)?

There will always be "assholes" around after hours clubs and this still happens but does not always make the news.

 

True, but in this case I don't think the attack would have had anything to do with that particular club. It was Space Billiards (32nd bet 5th & 6th), which late at night is full of, and welcoming of, any and every kind of person. All orientations and sexes (M, F, TVTS) -- I have gladly picked up (some for hire, some free) & gotten picked up by each of those there.

 

News reports say the couple were attacked shortly after being denied entrance at the club at 5am (tho one, I think MSNBC, fucked this up in reporting 7pm), which the club often enough does to anyone seeking entrance much past 4am, if the scene inside is already crowded. They would not have been kept out on account of being two visibly gay men, as any look inside the club would make evident.

 

My guess is the attackers were random street trash who happened to be passing by then. Hope the law comes down on them full force.

He didn't sound well on the phone, and I thought that I may have caught him at a bad time. In our brief conversation, I understood that this wasn't he. I may very well be mistaken.

One of the most idiotic comments I have ever read here.

 

George Zimmerman was getting his head smashed against concrete pavement, and a jury of his peers found that he acted in self-defense.

A more appropriate analogy would be to compare this incident to the three 15-year old black school kids that almost beat the 13-year old white boy to a pulp in a school bus in Florida .

Bulls**t. Zimmerman is a racist murderer, want to be cop that couldn't become one and the lowest form of scum. Had he just waited for the police instead of following a boy and accosting him Trayvn would be alive and Zimmerman wouldnt be fearing judgment day. God will have no sympathy for the sh**head. The jurors were stupid and I have no respect for them or the ignorant decision they reached. If Trayvon fought back against a possible attacker it was his right as Zimmerman was the follower. It's probably no surprise that Zimmerman had to use a gun as his go to equalizer for his lack of manhood, not uncommon amongst many gun owners. And now any loser with a gun can prey on anyone walking home alone and think they are immune from justice so while white trash celebrate Zimmerman getting away with murder it just reinforces how stupid they are. Florida politics and culture outside a few major cuties is shameful. Bozo, we know your true colors and it's not pretty. If you're reading "idiotic comments" (your words) they're yours.
