Well I just got home from an amazing weekend. So many memories, so much fun, so much time with some amazing friends, both clients and escorts alike.

First, there are not words to express our gratitude to our host, the always gracious and kind Oliver. Trust me, there is no one on this forum who has a better respect and understanding what it takes to put together an event like this than I do. If I could only carry off the DC luncheon with half the grace and style that Oliver runs the PS event, it would be vastly better. The Saturday night dinner at Trio was wonderful as always (but they need to do something about portion control -- my god it was too much food). And then even moreso the events of the pool party. The weather was perfect this year. The food spread was as incredible as ever. The hospitality even better. We can never thank you enough Oliver for all you do in arranging this event.

To the escorts present, most of you whom I have met before, it was so good to see you again. Jason Carter, the esteemed Erotic Technical Consultant to our host, you look simply incredible. And the Venus Rising in the jacuzzi is something I will be dreaming of for a long time. It was great to see Steven Kessler after missing last year. Always a class act and handsome as can be. And it was great to see so many new faces this year. Ace Banner, what a stylish and gorgeous man you are. Rusty Blue, I had no idea what to expect and was amazed at how sexy and charming you are. Wow!!! Joey Bryant, you amazed a lot of us. I anxiously await Joey 2.0. Tristan Baldwin -- it seems the PS event always is the crowning of the new EOY and you certainly showed why you are worthy of that title. Wear it well. Chris Eisenhower -- what can I say? We have known each other know for a few months and it was a sheer joy to get to see you (from a safe distance) experience all that PS had to offer, and then add an awful lot yourself. Another big splash for you, my friend. Several of my best friends, Ace and Nate Bruno. Well it would have been fine to see you Ace if you weren't the washed up old fuck that you are. :) And Nate you know I love you. And my sensei, my Tyger. But why wouldn't you join us in bed? There was plenty of room. There were even reported sightings of Steven Draker, but alas, I never even saw him for a few seconds. Just an amazing group of incredible escorts. We were all lucky to have each of them there.

And the clients: so many friends. Jackhammer, as I posted, it is always good to see you there. JJT -- we got to spend a lot more time together this year and you always impress me. Robster and Socalguy, our new friends from last year. I was so happy to see you again. SFWestcoaster -- I have to remind myself you are lying when you deny you just turned 25. My brother from another mother, JJAction69, it was good to be there for the early b-day celebration. Don, you help keep Ace under control which is no mean feat. So many others that I know I am overlooking at the moment. Epigonos, my friend. You certainly nailed it with my companion for the event, for he has earned his trip to heaven for putting up with the hell of being with me.

Which is what made it so interesting and different for me. Bringing my partner instead of an escort. We accomplished one goal yesterday after the events. Unfortunately, David-sf was unable to attend the events due to a prior commitment but we got to meet him for breakfast Monday. And now my partner has met every one of my escorts. I think it takes a special man to meet all of my escorts and consider them all our friends. So I am lucky. And that is certainly earning his trip directly to heaven.

And last, but not least, Daddy. Once again, we have managed to spend so much time together. I'm sorry we had to leave before you woke up yesterday. But that was about the only thing we missed with you. Love you very much.

It seems each year at the end of PS weekend, something comes up that brings a special sadness to me that marks the end of the event. Unforeseen, but a reminder of how fleeting the joy of the weekend is. Only to be reminded sometimes of the pain and heartache on the outside world. This year was no different. As always, I don't know if I will make it back for the next one. But the memories of this year, along with the last 2 before this, are something I can treasure for a long time.

Treasure what we have in the here and now. And always remember the good times. For what we had was indeed very, very special.

You mean he's going to drop dead from the shock of finding out how many escorts you've slept with? :p

I was referring to your statement that he'll now go "directly to heaven." Kind of takes the fun out of a joke to have to explain it. :)

Or it might have not needed it if it was funny. I'm still waiting for the first time for you to be actually funny instead of just trying to be a jerk.:p

LBT - shucks... That makes me go all warm and fuzzy on the inside. Thrilled to have met the Leigh Bess Toad! You're quite sexy and charming yourself ;) And, your "stubborn cuss of a partner" is one helluva catch. Your relationship is an inspiring model.

Also, I was lucky enough to have front row seats to the Venus Rising in the jacuzzi. The 2nd and 3rd encores by Jason made my jaw drop and eyes glaze over with the same intensity as the debut performance :p

Great memories, just wish escort summer camp was longer.

He is a charmer.

Charmer? Yeah, I guess you could say that. But only if a smoking hot, amazing guy, great to talk to, incredible body sort is what charms you.

Great to meet you too Traveler. And thanks for bringing the reigning EOY to his rightful coronation I guess we didn't have a tiara so he had to settle for a daddy hat. But I guess he really isn't a tiara sort, is he?

Many people here appreciate my sense of humor and playfulness. Just because you don't is no reason to resort to childish name-calling, which I believe is against the forum rules.

Thanks, jimboivyo. I appreciate it. And I'm glad I didn't have to say it myself! :p

When Rick has done as much as I have to make this a better place, to support the members of the community, to bring them together by sponsoring and organizing the DC luncheon, by offering help behind the scenes to countless guys, both clients and escorts alike, maybe I would. Respect? Credit? How about some for what I've done here in my time here? Wonder why Rick only has 10 friends on his list in all that time and I have over 60? Maybe it's how you treat people. Quite frankly, I grow weary of the bullying and nastiness that he passes off as humor, when it is anything but.

Everone has a different style on this board. I prefer Rick's. I can not count how many times he's made me laugh. More important, Rick has a way with words, especially about gay issues, that I both envy and enjoy greatly. I doubt that Rick knows or cares about how many 'friends' he has on this site. But, I suspect he knows who his real friends are here.

OMG, could you be any more pompous, self-righteous, humorless and insecure? Dude, I was doing a play on words. A joke about the wording of someone going "directly to heaven." If that was what you consider "bullying," then I don't think you have a firm grasp of the meaning of that word and it's insulting to people who are actually bullied and stalked.

As far as this "number of friends" high schoolish competition, I honestly do not pay attention to it and don't even see or understand the need for it. I have occasionally noticed I have requests and so I accept them, but I don't really get why or what it's for. Apparently, it's very important to you and some sort of validation. So, congratulations on your "over 60." Good for you! :)

Thanks, William. And yes, I do know. :)

rick as a word smith is appreciated here. this is a message board where words are only what we have

get togethers aren't what I personally appreciate. I don't need to meet folks off line or make a big deal about some event that 20 people attended

rick is a long time contributor. he's part of this sites history. I grow weary of those wanting self importance by stating their many 'accolades'

And there's even more that looks better off of him. Damn, I did love that shirt he wore to the Saturday night dinner.

Damn it...I just knew I should have gone. Aaaahhh to see JC in the (ahem) pool, and to see the now infamous EOY. Well the good news is LBT, I will most definitely attend the DC luncheon. Great town DC, and since I am an "East Coaster" now, it will only be a hope-skip-and a jump from mi casa....and you can be sure that there will be a friend in tow. ;) It sounds as if I need to plan further in advance should I decide to take a young companion.

+1

I couldn't have said it better myself. I don't always agree with Rick but I do respect his well-developed sarcastic wit. I'm amazed that someone would value themselves by the number of cyber-"friends" they have collected. Now that is laughable.
