Let's say you're going into a town and you're debating who to hire. You narrow it down to 2 people.

 

Escort #1 is extremely well-reviewed, has a long history of being in the business, and has even been a runner-up in Daddy's EOY awards. Unfortunately, there's something about his looks that you don't care for as much (i.e. color of hair, or something like that) and his pics don't turn you on very much.

Which one do you hire and why?

The well-reviewed would seam to be the best choice, as if he made it to your top two choices then there must be something about him that catches your eye. However if number 2 catches it more it just may be that he is new to the business and has not seen enough clients who do reviews. I would choose number two if that was the one that really did it for me. If everyone went off of seeing only the well-reviewed escorts who have been in the business for a while then no new escorts would even get the chance to get those reviews to become one of the well-reviewed escorts.

If I were ErieBear I wouldn't hire either one. I'd save myself the trouble of an awkward or unpleasant situation and instead I'd see a show or some other performance I'm interested in. Or else if I had the choice, I'd change my travel plans and go to a different city.

Am not sure I can make sense of this, if I didnt get turned on by his looks or his pics, he wouldnt have made it to my final 2 choices> I guess what you mean is that they are both hot, but I like slightly more the unreviewed one> I would say so long as he didnt have any actual BAD reviews I would go for the one who got my dick hardest-it is, after all about sex.

Also, as a ps- it is mainly because stellar reviews from another set of guys is still no guarantee I will have the same experience, so the element of risk is present whichever one I choose

I tend to factor in many things in the hiring decision, including reviews, but I do rely heavily on my gut feeling and the overall feeling I get from interaction related to setting up the meeting. As I have a relatively high risk tolerance for trying someone unknown or unreviewed, I could easily see myself going with the second guy.

Just because #1 is well reviewed doesn't mean he is the right guy for YOU, particularly if he is not really your type. Just like if you hear about a well-reviewed sushi restaurant, but what good is that if you don't really like sushi?

I most definitely agree with KMEM. I have certainly hired guys who haven't been reviewed. An excellent example being that when I made arrangements to get together with A. J./Orange County he hadn't been reviewed. However, by the time we did get together his first review had been posted. I wrote his second one. That sure as hell worked out just fine. As I've gotten older I tend to hire fewer new guys sticking to my standby favorites. Would I still hire a escort who hadn't been reviewed? Certainly if he really interested me that much.

I would not recommend anyone to hire anyone because of their reputation. Regardless of how amazing they are, how great they have been and how mind blowing experiences they may have provided for such an interminable list of men, escorting is all about the personal connection and attraction. Personal taste and preferences have to weight heavily in the process of choosing a partner. Unless you are hiring exclusively to spend time with him in the non euphemistic way, you have to hire men that make you simmer with passion.

 

How many times have we all gone to watch a very well reviewed movie that otherwise we would not have any interest in? Throughout the film you may be thinking that it is filmed beautifully, well directed, well acted, has gorgeous effects and so on... and all the while wishing it to end soon so you can go eat cookies?

 

If you are not interested, pass on it.

 

As for hiring a non reviewed escort...

 

Do or don't. Just don't expect the experience to blow your socks off. You may be incredibly lucky and strike gold making you the first glowing reviewer of your escort, you may just have an ok time, not bad nor good enough to warrant a review.

 

If you are looking for a mind-blowing experience, then why would you not find a well reviewed escort who perfectly fits the description of the men in your wet dreams. It's not that there's a shortage of men.

#2 with one caveat. I couldn't hire someone who didn't "turn me on very much" and while having reviews is a nice thing, it isn't required for my hiring decision. I have met well reviewed guys that have done nothing for me and guys with no reviews that have been great.

 

If #2 misrepresented himself to me (ie using fake pics etc., I no longer have any problem walking away).

Escort #1 would have never made my list. If there's something about his looks that I don't like he won't be under consideration. I'd pursue Escort #2. I've hired unreviewed escorts plenty of times. For me, being well-reviewed is not an endorsement -- I'm looking for that one review from someone with similar tastes. An escort can have a lot of reviews that don't sway me, either because the reviews are one or two paragraphs of detail-less gushing or they're from someone who's tastes are different than mine. Likewise, most if not all of the EOY winners and runners-up don't suit my tastes.

 

I hire Escort #2 because his pictures and his ad turn my crank and get my dick hard. Hopefully the phone call and subsequent meeting do the same.

When I go into a new town, I first look here to see if there's an escort who's my type and is well-reviewed. In that case, the decision is easy--for example Tristan Baldwin, who's not only just my type, but who's also a superstar escort. I have to be attracted to the person, regardless of what the reviews say. However, if the review is positive and the description of what I generally go for, then I may go for the one who has been reviewed first, or at least call, exchange emails, etc. to get a good idea of what may be in store for our meeting. However, I have met some wonderful guys just based on pictures and descriptions and the phone calls to discuss and confirm. So far that has worked wonders for me. The worst part is when you hire someone with whom you have had incredible experiences and then later have a disaster. That has happened more than once, and is very disappointing. Not sure what the reason for this is, but the chemistry was no longer there, and it seemed to me that this person has not aged in the business very well and has lost his focus on customer service. There is no one answer to this, I am afraid, as we all have our unique approach to this wonderful experience.

Xander, I used to have a pc and reluctantly at first changed to Mac, but within a week I was hooked and would NEVER go back! I have never had virus problems, and never had to call my computer guy to come and fix issues> the only reasons I could see to stay with a PC is if you have tons of programmes that you already use and need to continue with that are not compatible, but otherwise I would recommend Mac with no hesitation. When you say apps for entertainment, am not sure what you mean-I get all the entertainment I need on my mac

 

EriBear, sorry to take your thread off topic, this was just quick reply to Xander-as far as choosing an escort goes I always go with what I like visually and then do a little research to check there are no horror stories-if they seem compatible then I book them and try not to get my expectations too high. Honestly, have rarely had a bad experience, probably only one and that wasnt that bad, just no chemistry. I think it helps that I have a degree of flexibility in my sexual tastes, so can go a little bit with the flow depending on the vibe I get from them.
