Here's your challenge, Lucky, et al: post 10 serious threads about escorts.

 

Be sure to label them: "Serious Thread #1: Whose Dick Is Biggest," "Serious Thread #2: Chocolate Cream Cheese" and so on, so we can all keep count.

 

I promise not to contaminate them, and I'll try to keep my minion under control as well. I'm interested in seeing what is considered "serious" these days.

So it is has become difficult for an escort to continuously post here without suffering in his business. Much of what draws people to an escort is his image, and posting too much here usually causes people to see a side of the escort that turns them off. Fair or not, it is the case. So, maxwell, you wouldn't know if people decided not to see you, only if those who have seen you don't come back.

First off, that's an old thread. We're talking about new threads. And second—where exactly are you getting your data, from a survey?

The reason you don't like or appreciate my posts is simple: I like JJ.

 

As I've stated repeated, I think the board can be a great asset for some people who are looking for answers to their questions. But don't pretend that this board is some great client clearinghouse for escorts when it isn't—the VAST majority of escorts do not waste their time here because they get nothing from it... insight, cash or otherwise.

Speaking honestly, I have a hard time keeping track of usernames, so I don't. If you said something nasty to me a month ago, chances are I'd have no clue of it right now. I just don't spend enough time here (or anywhere on the internet) to know who everyone is.

 

As you say, "if you say something funny or interesting," I will not hesitate to respond to it, as long as I have trust that your post is well-intentioned. That is always my MO on these internet forums. I don't do cliques. I don't care about "following" anyone.

 

The territory gets tricky when an escort openly supports troll behavior (you know, the slash-n-burn, slice'm-n-dice'm cuntyness). Then the perception can shift to the escort engaging in double-posting, to cause trouble, and not just to protect himself in the Politics Forum.

 

This board has always had a troll control problem, and several escorts "are known" to create multiple usernames for questionable reasons. A TROLL always permeates at some point to dominate and cause board mayhem. It's one of the reasons I fought hard with Daddy early on to make TOS changes. As I said, I long ago accepted the board's limitations.

 

The nasty, endless, back-and-forth attacks are tiresome to the vast majority of readers. And true trolls NEVER quit until they're banned forever. And sometimes that takes a long time when multiple usernames are permitted in the TOS.

At any given time there are also usually more "guests" than members on the site. It would definitely be a mistake to assume that the only people paying attention to a thread are the handful of members who participate in it. (E.g., I have not posted in the most popular current thread, but today I read through all sixteen pages of it--I know, I know, I need to get therapy for such masochistic behavior.)
