I just wanted to give props to Xander for his response to a mildly negative review today.

 

Most of the time, it seems like escorts dig themselves into a deeper hole when they respond to negative reviews, but I think this a textbook example of how to do it right. Of course, it's never good to get a negative review, but I think he did a great job responding: didn't attack the reviewer, didn't show attitude and seemed genuinely contrite. Well done!

I actually credit the reviewer for his honesty. It's not easy to come out and say all that, knowing what information the escort may have on you.

 

I also credit Xander for a very well written and tasteful response. I noticed a little paunch in the photos and don't believe he was being deceptive in any way; his photos clearly represent him to be exactly as the reviewer described him. Poor hygiene, however, is a huge turn off for me and easily cured with a shower.

This is Daddys Reviews at its finest. An accurate review which articulated facts, and avoided insulting judgments heaped on the provider followed by an apologetic, sincere response that did not resort to name-calling or fiction to blame the client.

I agree. It would have been easy to stick in some subtle barbs regarding the client's appearance, hygiene, or demeanor, but Xander avoided that temptation. He also could have fudged about the cigarettes ("It was from another client's kiss") but instead told the truth. That's a class act.

 

Double congrats to Xander on reducing his smoking and losing that much weight at much. That's incredibly difficult and it shows that Xander is incredibly disciplined, something that will also served him well as an escort.

OK, so now I will throw in a comment that will be unpopular. But first I will start by saying that the response was well thought out, mature and civil, and not like many of the screeching, nasty replies we've heard from other escorts who have been reviewed negatively. On the other hand, the response sounded more like an ass-kissing plea for a second chance. (ie: I do remember your good looks).....I am also surprised that not a single client here called Xander out for showing up in the condition the client stated (smelling like an ashtray, and less than fresh in his nether region). IF that was the truth, I would have expected my "professional" escort to mention that to me when he walked thru the door, and ask ME if I wanted him to shower first and freshen up, not to allow me to discover a sweaty, smelly crotch when I go down on him... Put yourself in the clients place and imagine it was YOU and your money. Would your accolades be the same ? I have absolutely NO issue with Xander, I have enjoyed his posts. But to be fair here, i think another side of the coin needed to be presented from a person that doesnt pander to escorts on this site. In this instance, there were several things Xander could have improved upon to make the clients expereince more favorable.

However, I do think he should be acknowledged for providing respectful response, part of customer service is being humble and saying what needs to be said. I would also prefer some one dissatisfied with my performance either stop and give me feedback on the spot or even contact me later to let me know how I could do better.

 

I do like the way CityLaw doesn't do bad reviews, having worked in customer service for a number of years, I can say by far the most feedback you get it is negative. To have that feedback be public would be humiliating. I do appreciate feedback both during and after an appointment, I just don't think it all needs to be public. I would hope that if City got ripped off, put in danger or the escort showed up coked out of their mind he would publish a review. Escorts like that give us all a bad name.

It's my understanding that an escort sees a negative review before it is published and has the chance to respond - which clearly happened here or the response would not have been published WITH the review. So, it's unknown to us when Xander saw the review (tho I'd guess it was a matter of days or possibly weeks).

I would have ended the date at the first scent of poor hygiene. Would I have reviewed it .... I dunno, maybe. If I found him pudgy, I would not have reviewed him, especially since his pics represent him well. I don't, however, take anything away from the reviewer for reviewing hygiene, because he was ripped off in a sense. A client shouldn't have to bathe the escort, nor should an escort have to bathe a client. The reviewer here did his job in my opinion.
