This is like favorite quotes, but, I think, more fun. For instance, "fools rush in where angels fear to tread" vs. "nothing ventured, nothing gained" or "too many cooks spoil the broth" vs. "many hands make light work" or "haste makes waste" vs. "a stitch in time saves nine". Get the idea? All contributions welcome.
