Recently, I have been perusing the reviews for the "CoverBOY of the Day" as well as those reviews which have been written for others and have found that far too many of the men who have been writing

have NOT adhered to the established guidelines. They've either left out some vital information, or more importantly, they've written a mere sentence or two and writing in very general terms.

I wish "daddy" would, if he has the time, hold these writers accountable in their submitting at least a precise paragraph vs the one or two sentences that have been submitted. If the writer's fail to honor

the requirements, then the review should NOT be posted or these men should be asked to rewrite if they feel the need to let us know about the escort and the experience they've had with their specific

escort/s. Or go back to the guideline criteria and revise.

Although this has been presented previously to varying degrees, I'm keen to hear what your "take" is regarding a one or two sentence "review."

Ax, I guess it would really depend on the quality and content of those 1 or 2 sentences. If written properly, they could be all you would need to know. Sometimes less IS more, and personally I would rather read 1 or 2 KEY sentences than alot of fluff and oveblown compliments and accolades. But thats just me.

I think that those very short reviews (2 or 3 sentences) have limited value, but they can have SOME value. For example, if the reviewer is somewhat similar to me (older & carrying more weight than I should) and he had a great time with someone he lists as versatile or a bottom in the Activities section, that is more valuable me than a 4 paragraph review written by a 25-year-old in great shape. And the fact that the reviewer DOESN'T say the escort failed to match his description or pix probably means that he did.

But I think that the most useful reviews are those that contain a fair amount of detail about the experience as well as the reviewer and have all the information fields filled. (Interesting to note that MOST of the fields are 'optional'.)

Another consideration - can Daddy really AFFORD to set the bar very high? I'm guessing that the majority of reviewers would not follow though if asked to significantly expand their reviews.

One thing that does bother me a bit is that the guidelines state that the Information section (physical description, activities, etc.) should reflect what the escort advertises, and then discrepancies should be noted in the Review section. I can understand the reasoning, but I'm not sure that I agree - and I doubt that's what most reviewers actually DO.

I ignore short reviews. My immediate reaction is they are fake. If the purpose is to inform others of your experience and to give a heads up as to the good and bad of the experience, then a couple of lines just won't do. If you take time to go see someone and spend several hours out of your day in this process, why then would someone be so lazy as to just throw down a few words. Most I have talked to here on the forum have declared 'red flags' when several short reviews appear.

It is impossible to get a fair sense of how the experience was with only a few lines.

I think alot of guys live vicariously thru a lenghty, chock full of personal details review. Alot may even have no intention of hiring but reading the review is similar to watching "porn" for them. Lets face it, each persons experience with the excort will be different, but the key things to know are if the person that showed up WAS in fact the person advertised, if he looked like his pic, etc, etc, and the basic "events of the session, did he top, bottom, kiss, suck etc, etc. Of corse the client profile helps to gauge how YOU will fare with the escort in terms of the type of guys he has performed with. I dont think this needs to be elaborate information. But in fairness, each persons needs for a review are different, but I think to impose "rules" on review writing is a bit intrusive. Afterall, this IS a voluntary thing.

If that's the review submitted, I'd rather have it posted than not. Others are free to disregard it, but it is at least that much more data.

Absolutely. If it was "easy" to get virtually every client to take time out of their day to write a well-thought review, then the average escort would be doing pretty decent. It is a double-edged sword, if you ask me. Some people could care less about helping me out and writing a review (you can typically tell) and there are those who want you to succeed and do well, not only in this business but also in life. Those are the best because they will go above and beyond to write a review.....for me, I'd rather have a short review than none at all.

Additionally, they should be required to write "I will adhere to the review guidelines" 100 times on the blackboard and then stand in the corner and watch while the rest of us enjoy "indoor recess." :p

That sounds like a personal problem to me...Hardly the norm.....

I would particularly appreciate reviews presented as Haiku, even if they're a little brief. :)

I'm a limerick guy myself....

There is an escort from Nantucket

Whose said to me "come suck it"

I feasted all night

It tasted so right

I can't wait to once more fuck it.

Daddy is busy preparing for the Palm Springs Weekend. He is going to have a new outfit this year, and, so I hear, may have his beard groomed.

But beyond that, he was such a hit at the resort where he stayed last year, they have hired him this year to be an entertainer and to get the action going when

things tend to be slow. I hear he has an Ace in his hole on that one! :)

So, cut him some slack if the reviews have been a bit off lately. This could be his breakout moment!

(And, for all who will wonder, yes this is meant to be a humorous remark, lighten up the current thread, and give daddy a smile at what he could be doing!)

I have often thought the same way when I read the vehement criticism of shorter reviews that did not read like porn. I find it far more valuable to know that the escort was on-time, was a good communicator, is a top/bottom/whatever, looks like his pictures, and was willing to accommodate his client's needs (or not) than to know every detail of the encounter.

Review hard in brief,

More hiding than revealing.

No undergear, please.

Basically I would say a great percentage of the Forum Contributors donot read the reviews constantly just by the fact the "Working Guys" only get at best 10% of their Biz from this site.

I for one stopped a long time ago reading reviews of guys who have been reviewed for a long time. As was said better a short review on a Newbie than none at all!

LOL LOL...Why a member asked me just today why I was going to PS....my reply, "I'm going to meet Daddy of course"...AND the rest of the Desert crew. I for one anxiously await any new outfit or surprises Daddy might have in mind. Regards to all, BVB

I'm happy to write a review for the guys I see. BUT, it would be so much easier if we didn't have to fill out the stats portion. Unless you have a photographic mind, or use two computers to write the review, (one to write, and one to look up the stats), its somewhat labor intensive. I wish we could just fill out the review, and let the escort fill out the stats.

I've written many reviews to share my experiences as well as to enhance "the business" of the guys whom I've seen. To avoid the writing of the reviewing process from becoming arduous, I jot down the stats prior to writing. It has gone quickly and smoothly for me in my doing it that way!

Please try NOT to be deterred from writing because of our required preliminary work, and thanks for writing; I've appreciated hearing from everyone: the serious and the not so serious here!!!! -:) -:)

Since the stats section is supposed to reflect what the escort advertises, I just use the information from his ad. Then, if he didn't match those stats, mention it in the review portion.
