I thought it was quite stunning, actually. Loved the visuals—and for something as complex as it was, I thought it went quite well. The dude jumping on the elastic band was INCREDIBLE.

It was good, but Madonna would only have needed the microphone if she had actually been singing.

I think she was singing LAP at the end, but obviously not the other songs. Part of the problem was that she had no time to do a sound check.

I thought it was so-so. The sound didn't really come through well at times, so it took a little away from the show. However, the dancers and other entertainers were great. Being an old bank-geek, I thought bringing the snare line on stage was cool.

I loved it but, then again, I'm a Madonna fan. I felt she definitely was not singing Vogue or Give Me all Your Luvin'. She may have been singing Music and LAP. Great show nonetheless.

I'm a Cee Lo fan. He was the one wearing the black sparkly tent.

I thought given the parameters it was a very good show. Madonna is an excellent performer and for being 50 did remarkably well. The star of the evening has to be the technical crew. Amazing job getting everything ready in less than 10 minutes. The wire guy was cool but he wa only 4 feet off the ground. So in my summation Madonna B+, Supporting staff/dancers and such A, co performers like Celo, C-, ill used and waste of space, Indiannapolis crew A+ supper job.

She took me there!

I hear you call my name ...When you call my name it's l...I'm down on my knees, I wanna take you there ...n the midnight hour I can feel your power...Just like a prayer you know I'll take you there ...I hear your voice, it...I have no choice, I hear your voice ...I close my eyes, Oh God I think I'm falling ...

Madonna...

Absolutely marvelous. Taken as a total production, it has to rank as one of the best yet. Never was much of a Madonna fan, but when a 50 year old person can get up there and mesmerize millions, she's become a favorite.

Wonderful

I wish I had been there, the stadium crowd really seemed to be enjoying themselves. I'm taking her entrance as a tribute piece in honor of Elizabeth Taylor...

Funny, I thought exactly the same thing—loved the Cleo-vibe.

I am most definitely NOT a Madonna fan and NEVER have been. Now with that out of the way let me say I LOVED THE SHOW. I thought she did a fabulous job. I idea that it was a tribute to Liz Taylor also crossed my mind.

Give me all your lovin'?

And for this years SB half-time flap, a-la Janet Jackson titty show:

During the Super Bowl half-time show, singer M.I.A. flipped off millions of viewers during TV’s most-watched telecast of the year. The obscene gesture was made during a performance of Madonna’s new single, “Give Me All Your Luvin.’” M.I.A. also reportedly uttered an expletive, but it wasn’t audible.

NBC Sports issued an apology and called the moment a “spontaneous gesture” — a phrase that might go down in history alongside “waredrobe malfunction.” “We apologize for the inappropriate gesture that aired during halftime,” the network said in a statement. “It was a spontaneous gesture that our delay system caught late.”

The NFL apologized too, but placed the blame squarely on NBC: “There was a failure in NBC’s delay system. The obscene gesture in the performance was completely inappropriate, very disappointing, and we apologize to our fans.”

I was disappointed with her voguing. I suspect that headpiece she was wearing interfered, but then she lost it for her second song. In any case, I wanted more classic vogue moves from Madonna.

I really enjoyed the half time show. I thought the technical work was amazing. I was wondering if she was lip-synching some of it. Either that or her mic had not nearly enough power. All in all, I thought it was one of the better half-time shows.

She was lip-synching much of it, or singing with a backing track until the end when you could see her exertion.

I thought it was cool, because she always has a habit of changing up the vogue-style every time the song is done anew. I was really impressed by the stage visuals during "Vogue," with the mag covers pattern. But yeah, I think the headdress got in the way somewhat.

How about the weird-wire-guy?? Looked like Art Garfunkel, with a good cup and a bad dress!

I'm must confess that I didn't catch her flipping us off. Maybe the US Citizenship and Immigration Services should ask her what she meant by that.
