RE: Reviews that mention household staff & car manufact...

I understand where you're coming from,

I simply hate it when people shower themselves in a haze of self-indulgence, trying not only to convince others around them of their so-called stature, but themselves as well.

It's just disgusting to me... I mean, really, who shops at Saks anymore anyways? It's all about LaCroix and Harvey Nickels.... *adjusts PRADA shirt and VERSACE jeans*

Damn people, get with the times ;)

*gag*

Warmest Regards and Greatest Sarcasm,

I might be wrong here because I really don't read the reviews with any frequency, but do really really really rich guys take the time to write reviews of escorts anyway? I would assume they are so busy making money and staying on top of our constantly changing economic factors that writing a review of a favorite escort wouldn't be high on the list. It's always been my assumption that average middle-class guys are the biggest contributors to this site.:-)

Average middle class guys? Since you don't read the reviews regularly, there are some guys who can afford to spend thousands of dollars on escorts. Many escorts have traveled widely because of this. Say, ten days in Paris at the Ritz with a limo to boot! And then they write a review of it!

Us poorer guys can only afford those hourly rates occasionally.:(

Well, if you have a lot of reviews that mention what kind of car the client drives and what hotels he frequents and his extensive household staff, I would tend to think he's full of crap, or has just inherited it. Class knows that understatement is the key word. The few times I read the reviews it seems people have trouble spelling "restaurant" let alone Cafe des Artistes

I have my valet write all my reviews but he's such a bad speller. In his defence, he only completed his O levels.

Gucci, Prada, Fiorucci.....You're a nerd don't be so COOKY!!

1. No your not the only one who finds it rather pathetic.

2. I'm not a psychoanalyst so I REALLY DON't KNOW the motivation. I too would like light shed on this.

3. Yes, you are SUPPOSED to be impressed...but your not.

4. And lastly, a lot of rich guys mispell (Ball)Sacks Fifth Avenue and BLOOMING Dale's.

Prada, Gucci, Fiorucci suck my cock and eat my toochie.

Hell you can mention all the celebrities, designers and Manufacturers that you like....that way I know to expect a big tip (and Im not talking a Tiparillo.)

I think it's silly to think that people with money have no time for reviews. It's also silly to think that just because you mention something expensive...doesnt necessarily mean your of a certain class or pompous. I think you have to look at the whole package before you decide...some people dont CUM across the right way when the write.

I leave you with a little note I learned from an obscure dance song by Tyler Moore Mary:

"What's a girl supposed to do when they are all up in your face....Open your purse pull out CHANEL...reality it's MACE."

hmm..maybe this will be my new mantra.

Actually, I've found the conspicuosus types tend to be the worst tippers. Guess their momma's never learned 'em good manners, poor things.... :(

I find these posts interesting. And one poster referred to "rich" clients. But rich is highly subjective. So I'm curious, what do you all consider rich?

There's another discussion in the Deli that suggests that the escort in question may have written his own review and that it was not, in fact, the client talking about domestic staff, auto, etc. I tend to subscribe to that hypothesis rather than suspect one of our ilk as being tastleless nouveau riche.

RE: Reviews that mention household staff & car manufact...

Oh, it's not just wishful-thinking escorts who do it. (At least I can kind of understand that.) A number of our "ilk" do it, too, like one who goes on boringly about all his German cars, or another who constantly has to let us know that he ONLY stays at the George V or the Crillon in Paris. I'm sure they also get their caviar enemas (only rare, endangered Beluga, of course) exclusively from Petrossian. . .

If I were escorting, I think my response to these braggarts would be along the lines of "well, usually my rates are $250/hr., but because you're so extra superior, for you it's $2500. Otherwise, I know you wouldn't really appreciate the value of our time together and be able to hold up your head when you go around telling everyone how much it cost you. . ." }(

"Godiva Ice Cream!!"

There you go again....telling us about your expensive tastes! :)

My definition of rich is anybody who can pay more than I can!

It really depends. Sometimes the added context helps evaluate the experience that is being described. Also, I noted here that Rick suggested that he was looking for 4 or 5 star hotels in Paris. In that case, I can't imagine that he minds getting recomendations for such hotels. It all depends on the context.

HMMMMMM.shall we tell Rick that Godiva ice cream is produced by the same HUGE factories that produce Dryers. There is much, much finer ice cream out there-look for small local producers. In LA we have two that I know of Dr.Bob's and Rose's.Dr. Bob uses Scharffer Berger chocolate in his chocolate varities,FAR FAR superior to godiva(which is next to hesheys in my book-not anywhere worth $32.00 a lb.

And Rick, next time you are in New York go to la Maison Du Chocolate, you will then know what world class chocolate is all about. They also make sinfull glaces(ice creams)

Hi Rick,sorry-didn't know you lived in New York. Now get over to La Maison du Chocolate and try one of Mr.Linxe's wonderful creations.Just a warning first, they can become an expensive habit-I limit myself to three pounds a year!

Well, the guys that brag about the make of car they drive and household help are just full of crap.

Regardless of the make of car I own, I never drive it, I have one of my staff drive it. The thought of driving myself sounds so pedantic.

"Etienne, bring about the red motorcar, I wish to go for a drive to the Walmart".

Sometimes, you have to hand it to the French, who have perfected dealing with this kind of thing. Not only did the French bring us the word "attitude," they've given us "parvenu" to describe these self-aggrandizing brand-droppers. Parvenu. . . Now there's a delightful word to bandy around the lobby of the Crillon or the George V! }(
