This thread raises an interesting question. Has anyone ever had any luck finding guys on ModelMayhem that are "available"? I know there are a some official escorts that have profiles on MM, but I wonder how many of the other guys might be available. Anyone have any insight?

A few years back, I met such a guy in LA. Given I'm a top only and very particular, he was perfect for me: a masculine, handsome bottom with a ripped, muscled body, who was affectionate and had good oral skills. He was an LA 'wannabe', 24 years old and conflicted about his 'gay' urges.

He was also expensive, asking $350 an hour or $1000 overnight. In one memorable week, I had him for 3 nights and we had a terrific time together. Alas for me, he stopped 'working' to further his career and achieve his ambitions.

I've never started at MM, but I've hired 4 guys (that I know of) who had pages there, and a couple were on SAG. All advertised as masseurs on craigslist or backpages. They were struggling actors trying to make it in LA, and "discrete", but showed up in google searches by email or picture. One of them told me he'd had a recurring role on a soap opera (are there any left?), some minor roles in obscure movies, then a long dry period. A sweet guy fallen on hard times. I was delighted to see him in a national commercial recently. I hope things are looking up for him. These guys try to fly under the radar and I think it's important to respect their wishes about privacy.

Very well put! These guys are often looking for work and eager to please, but they prize discretion and, also in my experience, "fly under the radar".

What is "Backpages?" Is it a website?

backpage.com is a site much like Craigslist - you can navigate to the page for your state & city or area, then browse. There are Personasl and, under the Adult category. 'Male escorts'. Often the male escorts are for women, but a significant number cater to male clients. The number and type seem to vary from region to region.
