Mr. Fing Fam Foom currently is waging bitch fights against no less than three escorts: Jason Tyler, Jon Ramsey, Bruno Gaucho, and I can't remember who he is attacking on the Kristian thread.

Lucky, I'm sick and tired of it too. But, it's certainly not confined to this site. :-(

 

I was reading the letters to the editor in my local newspaper today and saw this article concerning their on-line edition.

 

"I love the intelligent exchange of ideas in the forums on StandardNET. What I don't appreciate are the mean, belittling, high school-like comments made by a few participants on a daily basis.

 

They know who they are, and they are ruining it for the rest of us. Instead of sticking to the subject matter, they resort to critiquing the spelling and grammar skills of the participants and name calling.

 

Soon, the forum isn"t even about the original subject of the letter! It"s just a big battle. So, I am politely asking these few participants to grow up and please contribute something worth reading.

 

We all deserve that.

 

I really wondered if the writer also visited this site?? Seems like people are more bold and rude on-line than in person. I think it's very sad how people act when they can hide behind their computer monitor. I venture to say that people like FFF would be beaten to a pulp if they were that rude to others in person.

I have to say that FFF has certain themes that grate on me (purses,teapots..yadayada.) But also I have a grudging respect for his posts. There is an integrity and a lack of sentimentality.Definitely calls a spade a spade.Perhaps overly cynical?But then...very often incredibly incisive( I know we all hate getting skewered).Sometimes seems cruel.but then...I'm sort of glad he's here.He certainly needs no srokes from me 'cause he seems quite self confident..but then..I think he does read and evaluate other posts and other opinions.I do not think he is negative for the sake of simply being negative.Lucky and Donnie...you are both positive contributors here, and your honesty shines through your posts.This is what makes it all much better than the graveyard.And we all have the option of tuning out when we want to.I am all in favor of positive reviews for good escorts...but the "fan club" theme serves no real purpose.This place can keep both clients and escorts in touch with reality by its variety of posts.

Actually I find FFF often insightful, if a bit blunt. On the other hand, it never ceases to amaze me at how some people defend the behavior of truly reprehensible guys such as Jason Tyler, apparently just because they're mesmerized by some of these guys' beauty. I don't think he was "bitch fighting" Jon Ramsey. He just pointed out that the guy feels it necessary to lie about his age (which he does). Nor was he "bitch fighting" Bruno Gaucho. He was just pointing out how Bruno's greed might backfire (although I think there are enough guys out there who will pay his jacked-up fee).

FFF can be very incisive. I will also note his critiques are not purely reserved to the escorts. I remain in agreement with Rod Hagen's compliments in a thread about Mark Daulton with regards to FFF's "incisive" comments about muscle worshiping clients having their pants around their ankles.

 

The Jon Ramsey thread was also begun by Traveler. An escort's unwillingness, either through sloppiness, laziness, or intent, not to correct their age or other factual information where it can be easily and readibly corrected, such as this site, is certainly fair game for critique by anyone. However, as Jon Dean pointed out, the "critique" respecting steroid use, particular as by his own admission, it is purely based on his own visual interpretation, is far from fair nor reasonable.

 

It is those types of comments as well as Donnie's own inappropriate comments respecting my photograph, which was inapplicable to a thread about outdoor sex, which can make this site the genuinely unpleasant collection of nasty, vicious, bitchy queeny remarks which it can occassionally resemble.

I don't know how long you have been viewing the message center, six weeks by your member count, but the message center has not always been the bitchfest that you see now.

 

I have been posting for 2 1/2 years and have seen a lot of how interesting the board can be when people can post without fear of being attacked. It was interesting, sexy, intelligent and fun.

Nonetheless, if you want me to bitch, I will. Isn't this haunted thread started with bitching from me?

You are right on point with this. This board or any other board for that matter is comprised of a collection of various personalities and characters. The fact that we have some truly certified eccentrics on this board makes it worth while reading and participating. Get rid of the "characters" and you take out the vibrancy.

 

The trouble is some individuals think the board revolves around them and when it does not they pitch a fit, pick up their dildoes and move on. Or atleast claim to move on, would not expect that any of them would just simply change their handle and continue posting under another guise.

 

Unfortunately some of the characters have misbehaved so badly that HooBoy has had to take some drastic actions with a few of them, so be it. Its his enterprise and he may operate it as he pleases.

 

I lurked on the board for almost a year before I started posting. During that time I was able to learn a few things and gain the confidence to start posting on the message center. I figured out who the assholes were and who the really cool pepole were. This board is meant to be a forum to exchange a few thoughts and ideas, but ultimately the postings boil down to sex in exchange for money.

I have read many messages here that bite, most of which probably

come from persons who are hurting. Our response should be just the opposite, expressing respect for all persons.

 

That FFF has been singled out is regretable. While his messags may

sometimes offend me, I usually find some humor in them. In fact,

some of his messages have been delightfully funny.

 

Nevertheless, probably the best way to respond to hateful

messages is to do just the opposite.

Tired? Yes....not of the "bitching", but of the outright nastiness that rears its unly head from time to time on this board. (we all remember Kalifornia)

 

Dont get me wrong - I throughly enjoy the posts that FFF and others post. I just get ragged out when people just trash someone (client or escort) or just make an accusation for no apparent reason. Some of these border on slanderous. And in some of these cases, they just show the poster's ignorance.

 

It would be a very boring place if there were only vanilla posts here, but just to make a post to trash someone appears to me that someone has way too much time on their hands. I think we all can benefit from healthy, honest criticism.
