It's a bad Housewives version of gigolos of Las Vegas. The boys are sort of trashy and hot at the same time. Some nice butt shots though. It was interesting to hear why they went into escorting and the "pseudo comraderie" they have. Did not need to see them having sex with their female clients which was a major turnoff for me...yuck. The "mamasan" in charge was a doughy-looking kind of guy and not very commanding. Not sure why these assertive cocky guys would be working for someone like him when they can advertise on their own and make more money by doing so.

 

It would be nice to have a gay escort version of this... with the famous Chris/LV starring of course

I watched about the first 10 minutes -pretty boring except for that 2-second shower shot at the beginning in which we actually saw a penis. And yes, I could have done without seeing the the guy bang the teacher (not sure what she teaches, if she was willing to be filmed having paid-for sex on almost-public TV.)

 

The few minutes I saw of the boys together looked like it would be pretty catty.

I think that HBO's , "HUNG," even though fiction is a better program and actually more realistic of what a gigolo experiences in real life. Thomas Jane is actually a serviceable actor. As someone who has actually had numerous female clients I can tell you that , to my knowledge, no escort can actually make a living seeing only women. They all see men. They have too. Maybe someday someone will make a show that tells the TRUE story of what it is like on the front lines..........I will consult.....

Ya... I just watched this program last night. I had the same thought in my mind to have a Male Gay Escort version of this program available. I was constantly in um... shock? amazement at how unprofessional and self absorbed some of the guys were... not much understanding or compassion for their hiring partners. I admired the nuts that the gals had in being so open and honest about hiring. Bigger balls then their gigolos. Felt badly that some of the guys they hired were very not pretty starting from the inside and moving out~ All of their jell and cosmetic beauty could not make up for their general lack of consideraion and character.

One of the guys seemed to have some genuine human compassion... I've watched several episodes of this show and agree that its just another trashy reality series. The only reason its on Showtime and not on a lower tier cable network is because its becasically softcore porn. It won't survive on Showtime though. That is an action cable network watched mostly by men, and they would have done better to do it as a series featuring hot young call girls and their male clients---with the focus being on the girls. The premise of the show is silly. Somebody commented that it resembles one of the "Real Housewives of..." reality shows and this is true. The sex scenes were added in to make it more watchable but on the whole its still boring. They got a bunch of damaged guys together and gave them a script that projects masculinity and virility in ways that aren't very attractive and isn't all that interesting to watch. The stories and scenes look totally contrived.

 

Sure, Vegas is a rough town where pretty much everything and everyone is available for sale if you've got the $$$. BUT, unless you're a licensed brothel or in cahoots with LE, you'd only be baiting up yourself by going on national TV on a show like this there. It wouldn't make sense for a real escort to do this for any amount of money. If and when LE decides to go after them the evidence is already in the can. Its one thing for them to advertise themselves as escorts who're selling companionship, but quite a different thing for them to repeatedly have themselves recorded on video having sex with the clients. Its obvioulsly sex and not just 'companionship' since they're speaking so 'candidly on camera between encounters about exactly what they're doing. Their pimp isn't very convincing either. I have difficulty believing that a real Papa-san would blow himself up like that on national tv. As well, the business relationship between escort and client is usually kept discrete for many reasons. Many real life clients have wives, girlfriends, husbands, careers, families...and prefer to be discrete. I don't imagine that many would want their private encounters with escorts recorded on video and broadcast to the world. The women on this show seem to have no problem at all with a camera following them around (even stating their names) and recording them having sex. What 'client' would do this for a major cable television show unless they're really an actress who's being paid to act the part? The whole thing just screams 'fake'.

 

I don't know anything about being an escort, but I'm inclined to believe what you say about straight male escorts doing all that well by seeing only female clients. Sure there are women who pay men for sex but most don't because they don't have to. Even a less than average looking chick who's a bit overweight can find a man to fuck her---as long as she's not expecting him to look like a Hollywood movie star. Additionally, I get the feeling that these guys really aren't totally hetero and that they DO see men discretely but just don't talk about it---perhaps with the exception of the 'Brice' character (who's such a narcissistic asshole that he'd probably get his ass kicked by male clients a lot).

 

What I don't like about this show is the image that the guys project and their fake camaraderie. It's over the top. First off, they seem to spend all of their 'off' time hanging out together either in a gym, shopping together, or having cocktails together in a bar gossiping about their clients. I don't for one minute believe that any male escort who sees only female clients would stay busy enough to do it full time and live the way these guys appear to do.

You are absolutely correct. But view it in broader context. When people talk about going to 'Vegas' or 'Sin City' for sex, drugs, gambling, and partying they're not necessarily refering only specifically to the limits of the the strip, the city, or the county but to the outlying areas where they can get these things as well.

 

Of course prostitution is illegal in Vegas, but there are many prostitutes there. And, true, brothels are illegal in Vegas but a couple years ago some friends and I were in one that operated under the guise of a strip club. Every chick who was dancing in that place was on the take and selling it, but they were discrete. Those girls were pros who knew how to pick their clients. If you were well dressed and spending good money in the joint, they set their eye on you for discrete quickie fucks and blow jobs in the tiny VIP back rooms. It wasn't cheap, considering that one could get more time and action from a quality escort for just a little bit mor e money. But when one is drunk and horny one tends to not think about such things.
