Advertising plans are available for people with websites who want to promote their business.

The use of this website to promote a business, whether it is by posting inflammatory messages to garner attention and thus generate hits or whether it is simply blatant advertising will not be tolerated

If you want to send us substantial amounts of money, you can post your advertisements in the form of messages as long as it is disclosed that you paid for the bandwidth.

I will make the final determination on what constitutes advertising.

Thank you.

Since the earliest days of the Web it's been the tradition that anyone who tried to use message boards or newsgroups to advertise a product or business was treated with scorn by the other members. But the use of this message center for the purpose of advertising by escorts has been tolerated for a long time now. The way I remember it, anyone who objected to that kind of thing in the past was told pretty rudely to shut the hell up by the people who idolize the escorts in question. So this policy represents a major change in the way this board is run. Glad to hear about it.

If this is your policy, then why are the threads "locked" and not REMOVED??? Here we have Kruezer in one of his wacky identities promoting the real Kruezer (not that there even IS a REAL Kruezer), and it is prominently displayed, and we can't even reply to it. Why not just take him OFF? Period?????

Because of all the flack he generally gets on those rare occasions when he does remove a thread. Allegations are made of censorship and cover-up and whatever else the drama queens can come up with.

I applaud the decision to stop the controversy before it took over the message center. I question the motivation as I think it has more to do with some unexplainable soft spot that Hoo has for Anthony than it does with free advertising, but that's just my opinion.

Soft spot? More like a hard spot. :p

The individual that prompted this announcement has single-handedly caused the end of several careers in the adult industry and the closure or MAJOR alteration of several internet message boards.

He is on notice. It will NOT be tolerated here.

Honey, if you came here looking for the meaning of life, I am afraid you will be sorely disappointed. These things generally happen in cycles (much like a woman's period...hmmmm...hadn't made that connection before). Some great controversy rears its ugly head. Somebody flames out in grand style occasionally. Then Hooboy puts the handcuffs and tit clamps on and everyone behaves themselves.

For a little while.....

It's good to know your alive though isn't it NICK.

As far as the meaning of life...I find that in every interaction, negative, positive or mundane. And no...I don't live in the esoteric, hippie-riddled emotional rollercoaster ride that some people have been known to spew about on this board...but they make me laugh...and THAT's a good thing (Thank you Martha Stewart)

Good Day buddy...you rock too.

Who cares what the drama queens think/say/do?

The thread should be removed never again to see the light of day!

Why bother with notice, just ban the little shit.

Anchored posts are only available to the moderators and operators. It keeps the thread at the top of the list. Perfect for announcements (like this one).

The anchor is kinda cute. You need an avatar with a cute little sailor's cap to go with it though. And maybe a cute little sailor...

Can we skip right to the little sailor?

Only problem is they tend to be tops. Just ask the Marines. }>

Question: How do you tell the difference between a butch Marine and a nelly Marine?

Answer: A butch Marine holds his own legs up.

<ducking>

I vote to delete the offending threads. New visitors to the MC will not know why the topic is locked down and these assholes will only benefit from the free ads.

It's Hooboys site and if he wants them deleted then I think he should not be concerned how others might feel.

Camp Pendleton

Totally off the subject of this post, but since we are speaking about fuckable marines and fuckable military guys, the one thing about San Diego is that I do not believe I have seen this many tight asses, short haircuts and sexy tattoos showing slightly under slightly soiled white tee shirts and badly fitting Lee jeans since I was at the air force basis outside Atlanta getting a haircut with my then partner. We held hands in the barber shop and elicted stares of both dismay, disgust and clear but disguised interest.

On the subject, this is Hoo Boy's baby and he has certainly kept it afloat by and large through a force of will, the contributions of many, the viewership of thousands and many, many hours of hard work. So, to the extent his rules are fair and fairly enforced (and thus far they appear at least to me to be so), he is entitled to run it as he wishes. This is the way it has always been from Thomas Paine to Citizen Hearst to Rupert Murdoch. Except Mr. Hearst and Mr. Murdoch have been very wealthy from their communication and media empires....

Gotta love those military towns. ;-)

The best has to be DC, though. The troops that get stationed there tend to be the youngest and prettiest. In other words, the ones that look best standing at attention during a photo op.

(If you think I'm kidding, think again. The ceremonial troops have the most stringent appearance requirements in the military.)

Take a kid fresh out of boot camp, selected because he looks great in a dress uniform, imbued with following orders, and plop him into that hotbed of morality known as DC and, well, more often than not he'll put out for anyone that shows him a little attention.

And they DO get attention. }>

Add to that a very low pay scale for junior troops and it's no surprise what guys will do for beer money. Been there. Done that. :9

Much more of this military talk and I'll be cruising down to Campen this afternoon :)

I had one great experience with a sailor in San Diego a few years ago. He was 19, latin, tight bod, nice cock and a very sweet ass :9 . He was obviously bi-sexual as he was engaged to be married.

So Devon's LiveJournal is not advertising but Anthony's is? Hmmm. Nice to see that the double standard is always safe here. How does Devon pay the substantial fee? Oh, wait, i forgot...
