Yep - definitely worth watching! But I get the feeling that Fiona has a thing for the bad boys (or self-esteem issues), and Officer Tony is too clean-cut for her. I did like the dialog when he explained that she was his 'first' -when he explained how close he come on several occasions, it made him more realisitc & likeable.

I confess to being a bit disappointed to discover that this is an American version of an original British series: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shameless (I discovered this via one of the AFterElton news items on today's (Monday's) review page.) First Queer as Folk, now this.

 

Oh well, at least the quality is good - unlike the current MTV remake of Skins and the so-so American version of Being Human on the SyFy channel/

 

Ian's hook-up with Mickey was quite a surprise.

I love this show~ I find Fiona and Joan Cusack fascinating and compelling characters... the little girl too. I wish they would bring back Aunt Ginger~
