End of the Line for NYC Strip Clubs?

Appeal.

 

This is not good news, especially with the 20 Club planning on opening a male strip club on 19th Street. Only time will tell but this ruling is definitely a giant leap backwards. Looks like many of us strip club fans will be doing a lot more out-of-state traveling.

Apparently yes.

Below is a link to an article from the NY Times when Giuliani began implementing the so-called 60-40 rule. The article indicates the V.I.P club was specifically targeted for closing; however, the club was successful in circumventing the 60-40 law by expanding its restaurant, and limiting the area where dancers can dance. Now, with the current plans to gut the restaurant and construct an area for the boys to shake their booties, it looks like this ruling may impact those plans.
