Sue's got a great voice. I was hoping she would stay at the school but instead got sent over to the "enemy." It will be interesting to see how they develope that subplot. I'm still ambivilent about Coach B. I'm not sure if they know what they want to do with that character. Another interesting set of possibilities.

"Glee" = one of many reasons I don't watch television. About the only TV programing that holds my attention is South Park and The Simpsons. If they ever take Glee onto Broadway. I will have to stop going to that as well~ Please keep Broadway Alive~! Boycott Glee~

Am I the only gay man in America that will be watching Lost instead of Glee tonight? Here are a couple of reasons why:

Where did this one come from?

Am I the only one that hasn't seen one episode of this show? Nor did I know about it till a couple months ago when it came up in dinner conversation and was completely lost.

I must have missed the Glee-mania boat...

Tyger, I would have agreed with you a year ago. Glee is one of those programs that I couldn't stand the first couple of times I watched it. In a lot of ways it's like some bubblegum rock tunes--you know you're not supposed to like it, but you enjoy it anyway, at least in private.

I'll stick with "Strangers with Candy" or "Archer". :)

Well, last night's episode was brilliant. When I wasn't crying my eyes out, I was laughing so hard (Cheesus!!) I couldn't breathe. No other show on TV has that impact on me.

I thought the religion dialogue was impressive for mainstream Prime Time, as was Kurt's heart-wrenching rendition of I Want to Hold Your Hand. The flashbacks to his boyhood....priceless.

This is why I love this show.

I haven't yet finished watching last season, but I confess openly and from the roof tops that I am a Glee-lover. The themes, emotion, and how they express them through song, makes me smile, laugh, and at times cry. It's either a great show that speaks to me or I am becoming a sentimental sap in my old age! Thanks for sharing, and yes, the clip made me cry.

LOL Exactly the question I ask myself. I'm leaning towards sentimentality myself. With any luck, tonight's episode of "Bones" will have an especially gruesome murder to keep the balance.

Sometimes Glee sucks.

Well, last night's episode was brilliant.

Well, I thought it was the worst Glee episode I had ever seen. I couldn't wait for it to end. In fact, I almost shut it off before it ended. What a sappy, soppy, glop of sissy shit.

Kurt is just too Staten Island girlie for me. I want to punch him in the face and I don't enjoy watching him sing. Making him not believe in God because the Church has caused him so much pain: how original. How boring. The character's relationship with his father is so fake. No chemistry. They did a better job with Rachel and Idina Menzel.

The whole episode dragged on like a week-long funeral scene on a daytime soap. Dreadful. The song choices made me want to bang my head with a cast iron frying pan. Watching a repeat of the Britney Spears episode would have been so much more fun.

Sorry you had to endure. Wouldn't it have been easier just to flip the channel? Or is there a new Glee division in the S&M world??;)

Sorry?

You didn't create the show so why be sorry?

Almost all the television I watch is recorded. I work in the biz so I endure what I feel is appropriate. I watch Glee because it's good for business. It's a genius creation even though I realize it's not for everyone. And, sometimes, it's definitely not for me. I did think the Madonna episode was FABULOUS. I hope we get a Cher episode. Eventually, I expect this formula to tire as most formulas do. With any more shows like "Cheesus," I may need to think about canceling my recordings.

I wish this Rockhard character would post more frequently. He's far and away the most entertaining poster around. I mean, who else comes up with gems like "sappy, soppy, glop of sissy shit"? Too good. I've read it three times and I'm still laughing.

Everyone I've spoken to loved this week's Glee episode as much as I did..and I work in the "biz" too. Rockhard's negative view is predictable and he seems to be way outnumbered. Who "endures" watching a program they don't enjoy--just turn the damn show off if you find it "dreadful." Admitting to "enduring" an episode of any program "because it's good for business" if the silliest, sissiest shit I've read in a long, long time! Lighten up Rockhard... Cheesus Loves You.:)

Chad is this gay man's wetdream wearing gold, playing his guitar and singing "Billionaire" before letting me spread his cheeks and go to town on his mounds of down.

Looking forward to Glee's October 26th episode paying tribute The Rocky Horror Picture Show...

Now that ain't just cute, that's full fledged adorable.

Thanks for the heads up, JackTwist. I haven't been watching Glee but I gotta catch this episode.

Okay... cleaver as Grilled Jesus was... I can;t help but see the same marketing tool used when Broadway sales were down and Fame came into play... Trust me, Cheesus Jesus.... I love broadway... but the Fame and Glee gay hook and sinker card just makes me shiver with bewilderment about how media can so control the gay vote~ Ugh~

So... um...okay... like most gay reclaimed neighborhoods... we move in and make things pretty and valuable to str8t people watching from afar but who can;t make things pretty for themselves... So we watch Glee... primp the ratings... but let's look who is profiting from, this? Gay marriage? HIV/Aids research? Gay rights or Research. See where your TV entertainment dollars are going... Modonna and the network~ ?

The world gets messy when you intertwine religion/politics/entertainment. I enjoyed last week's episode. But, I think the show needs to better pace itself--move story lines throughout the series not throughout one episode. I love the show too, Duchess, but it seems like in all glee episodes lately, social issues are jam packed into a single episode, with little time in between commercial breaks to let the ideas settle. As someone recently said "Glee is like a porn, they just talk a little and then perform."

The "Glee" cast Christmas album hits shelves on November 16th. I haven't purchased a holiday cd in a long time, but I'm really looking forward to this one.
