'American Idol' has unveiled The Top 12 for Season 9. Do you think the call-in voters got it right? Among the contestants still standing, who are your personal favorites?

Do any of them have the talent and star-power to become the next Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson or Carrie Underwood?

Rolling Stones Tonight

They are performing songs from the Rolling Stones on tonight's episode. That will either be really great or a total train wreck.

My personal favorites are...

Women: Crystal Bowersox, Siobhan Mangus

Men: Lee Dewyze and Casey James

Yeah, I also agree with others here--Tim Urban is sweet eye candy!

Show Andrew Garcia the Door, please.

The guy with the glasses needs too go

Absolutely agree with Joseph: Andrew Garcia needs to go. At least with this week's Stones theme, he MUST perform a song not originally sung by a woman!

Crystal and Lee

Yup. Lee and Crystal both strike me as real "diamonds in the rough." I'd be happy to see either of them win it all. Big Mike Lynch has a strong voice, but producers have run his backstory into the ground (his wife delivered their baby while he was @ Idol's Hollywood week) and he strikes me as a tad over-confident. Big time over-kill on this story, imho. Enough already.

I thought Casey James looked hot last night. I liked his song :)

Casey is Hot

I thought Casey rocked the house last night and agree with "Countryboy" that he looked awesome. I like 'em tall and I like 'em southern and I like singer-guitar players. He also has a sense of humility and kindness in his eyes. Complete package!

Lacey Gets the Pink Slip

Lacey Brown deserved to go home tonight, imo, so no complaints from me. Tim Urban lives to sing (and be sexy hot) another week. Too bad for Tim that next week's theme isn't "singing with shirts off".:)

Guest Mentor: Miley Cyrus...Seriously?

I just read that Miley Cyrus is this week's guest mentor for the Top 11 finalists when they perform during this week's live performance episode. Heaven help these poor contestants. What can this teen-screecher possibly teach them? I used to really enjoy Idol, but I think this season it has truly lost its mojo.

Tonight

Tonight, Paige Miles or Andrew Garcia will surely be sent packing for home. Hope both Texas-cuties, Tim Urban and Casey James, stay at least a couple more weeks...Idol needs the guy-candy they bring to the show to keep me interested in watching.

Another Tim Urban "shirtless" shot:

Tim Urban was embarrasingly dreadful last night. The only hope he has is that some were worse!

The young lady who went home was indeed worse than Tim. So he makes that tour and I see a career highlight for him playing Prince Charming on Stage at Disney. Not a disaster just not a recording artist at this point. Hope I am wrong. And Paige, a beautiful young lady but I don't think she had the strength of voice to since as much as she was and she sounds as though she has fairly signficant vocal cord strain. I think she may have a career though she doesnt make the tour.

Perhaps if Paige Miles had chosen a song from a relative young newcomer like Justin Bieber, she might have had a chance to remain in the competition. Instead she chose a song from pop legend, Phil Collins and the song of choice was "Against All Odds". In my opinion it's one of the best pop songs ever written and vocally it requires a certain range that only Phil can do. What she ended up singing was a Mariah Carey version, which was awful enough. So Paige Miles basically brutalised a truly great pop song and therefore deserved to be voted off the show.

I know part of the competition is their song choice, but they have been making horrible choices this year. I think if I were a contestant, I would hire a song and makeup stylist immediately to help me. . .

For example, Tim Urban should be wearing tank tops every show. . .

A League By Themselves.

Tonight (March 30) on Idol: Lee DeWyze's version of "Treat Her Like a Lady" and Crystal Bowersox's rendition of "Midnight Train to Georgia" were in a league of their own and both delivered superior performances far beyond the rest of the contestants, imho. I'm guessing Didi Benami heads home Wednesday night.

Tough call...

I watched AI last night and thought most of the contestants did a good job singing songs by the Beatles... Based solely on last night's performances, it might be time to say good-bye to 16yo Aaron Kelly.
