Sorry for a trivial question as I am clueless about drinks.

I am meeting an escort and would like to bring something stronger than a wine but still romantic.

What do sensual and romantic men usually prefer among stronger beverages?

I would really appreciate your inputs.

He said wine is fine but I'd like to bring smth stronger and just don't want to ask him too many questions. We've already exchanged many emails and sort of finalized everything.

As for budget, anything within 200 would be reasonable.

Why?

If he suggested wine...why do something different?

Or if it's just your preference...accept that there's no way to predict his taste. Not everyone likes whiskeys or brandys or liquers - and some escorts are careful about drinking with new clients.

He said wine, so wine is the most appropriate. Visit your local wine shoppe (or liquor store with a good selection) and tell them you want a bottle(s) to impress a date. They'll hook you right up and quite possibly blow your budget.

Stronger is not better if he's already said wine. (He may be trying to hold on to his faculties, after all!) Showing up with something stronger may send the wrong message.

Nothing impresses like a bottle of Vin Mariani.

I'm told even the Pope appreciates a nice bottle of Vin Mariani.

Second choice is Absinthe but unfortunately

it's just not as special since it was legalized.

Now if I were the escort I'd be happy with some El Patron Anejo, though too much and

I might become ravenously sexual, or dance on the table wearing a lampshade, or

just fall asleep.

Ok so El Patron Anejo, but only one glass we want to hit number one and maybe number two, sleeping comes later

Wearing a lampshade where, exactly? Let's get our options clearly on said table. :p

One head or another. Though by then I don't think any of us will have anything on our little heads.

If you want to get anal about our options on said table we can use condoms instead of lampshades.

Coffee, tea or me

Now my experiences would say for a first outing it was very nice of you to ask his opinion and I would go with his selection of wine. Most gentlemen will most likely follow your lead at meals and beverage. But I have found there are a fair amount of gentlemen who will not have any alcohol while on the clock. Just dont feel hurt if they stick to just one glass of wine. Again for a first time outing with a gentleman I would temper your alcohol intake as well. The most I have ever had on an outing of any length has been one beer, dont like wine and hard alcohol, I think one would be enough to join Raul on the table.

I think I need to buy a more sturdy table. And a bottle of Patron.

If you want stronger than wine, then champagne is a nice classy option available in a $40-$200 range. I like Gimmonet (a lesser known producer). You could also select a Taittinger Comptes de Champagne (about $160) wHich is truly amazing and sure to impress.

As always a class act bringing back from Cock to Cocktails, Thanks Baron

great idea, Baron....I agree with Tom....champagne would be classy and a bit of a celebration....

I didn't know champagne was stronger than wine...is that true??.....

I'm just a Coors Light/Tecate guy myself....but now I've discovered this Simpler Times beer at Trader Joe's.....cheaper than Coors!
