I am happy that Mr. Geffen and guest, as well as the other three gay and lesbian couples, were invited to the White House state dinner. In addition, I am happy that Mr. Geffen and his guest were honored by being invited to sit at the main table with the president. The event was important for all gays and lesbians, and a singular honor for Mr. Geffen.

 

We in the gay world should be particularly sensitive to diversity of lifestyles and diversity of tastes, not critical of others. There is no reason for sniping at Mr. Geffen.

 

A bit more tolerance of & respect for others would improve this MC, IMHO.

Is it so totally implausible that a 26 year old hottie might have a daddy fetish and go for a decently-in-shape 66 year old guy? And just because the young boyfriend is -- at least in my estimation -- a good looking fellow with a good looking body doesn't necessarily mean he's a hustler.

 

In my work, I come into contact with lots of 20-something guys, graduate students, many of whom would hold their own in the looks&bod department with Geffen's young squeeze, none of whom are "in the biz" as far as I know....

 

Cynics are wont to say that there is no free lunch regardless of any apparent "matching". In other words, there is always a price to be paid by one or the other and surely both, according to these same cynics. Many of my straight friends say the cheapest and best relationship is the one you "rent". However, they mostly do not make their words agree with their actions. Again, in other words, most of them are divorced, most multiple times. How long does it take to get the hint?

Well, unfortunately I am closer to 66 than 26 and I am closer to a thousandaire than a billionaire. Yet, I think I have something to offer a young man of substance. Now whether there are young men of substance who have the wisdom to see what I can offer, I can only speculate. At this point, they all have seen fit to pass on the opportunity.

I believe that rich gay old men should have the same god given right to exploit beautiful young things as straight old men. If Geffen was there with a Taylor Swift look-alike, I doubt there would be a mention of it.

I agree regardless of what Anna Nicole's intentions were she made the guy happy. I always felt she should get the money he promised her too. When I dated the 18 year old I got called all kinds of names all coming from older guys. they were just jealous cause their ass couldn't get a 18 year old
