More seriously, I've always regarded the escort's right to a rebuttal as a double-edged sword, simply because so many (most in fact) end up giving more credibility to whatever criticisms the reviewer levied. Tommy's 'initial' response being the perfect case in point. Moreover, while I understand and fully support giving an escort the chance to have the last word, I'm much less wild about giving him the opportunity to apparently continuously 'update' (or revise) his rebuttals.

 

I'm also wondering whether this 'revised' rebuttal will replace his 'original' rebuttal or whether both will be shown. If it's the latter, I won't mind much, at least that way potential hirers can see the 'path' drawn between Tommy's initial reaction and a (hopefully) more thoughtful, reasoned response. But if it's the former, then I will certainly be questioning whose interests are being served by this site, the escort's or the people who hire them? It's a subject that's come up in my mind a lot recently for some reason...

I agree with your analysis but perhaps you should consider sending this directly to the "source". It might be read and understood and acted upon from this forum but it also might not. I don't know the odds but I do know they are not 100% that the post WILL be read.

(1) it isn't "updated" yet

(2) you know he is "updating" his response

 

Sounds like he received advice to "update" his response, but still can't seem to get around to what he wants to say. Maybe he needs more advice.

 

Or perhaps... Daddy has the update and is taking his normal weekend off? Maybe just maybe Daddy has a modicum more information? or Perhaps your just trying to call Daddy a Liar?

I was also taken aback that there was another person present during the appointment. Obviously Tommy Deluca found nothing strange or unusual in the situation in that he didn’t even believe it necessary to address the question in his reply. I seldom see an escort, I don’t know, at his hotel or his home. If I did and found another person present I would politely excuse myself and leave.

 

Let's see if I can do this without making a mess of it. Tommy received a email from one of his clients that I was cc'd on. In it the client pointed out that Tommy had not addressed either of the two points raised in the review. That email predates this thread.

 

I gave Tommy the option to "Revise and Extend" (Congressional Humor) his response because I felt that it would be to the benefit of the readers. While it has been seldom done, it is not against the "Rules" and on occasion has happened.

 

While it went through several drafts, the only advise that I gave him was on Grammar, Sentence Structure, and Spelling. What went up tonight is purely Tommy and reflects his actual feelings.

 

Enough Said?

 

P.S. I'm not picking on Epignos I like his hors d'oeuvres too much! It's just he's the first person to mention Tommy.

This is a small issue as far as DeLuca is concerned. Mayhbe he should have been given a chance to ammend his review and maybe not. Perhaps he did have someone there or, as he says, he did not. What we do know is that 1) He is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, 2) He is a long time escort who is known to most who post here. and 3) Not many bad things have been said here about him. Let's give him and ole Daddy a break and drop this thread.
