I recently spent a few days in Chicago and met with an escort while I was there. To be honest, the entire session was a huge disappointment (i.e., the guy didn't even look at me - had his eyes closed the entire time). Today I received an e-mail from him saying he hoped I enjoyed my time with him and that he wanted me to post a review to his website.

Before I do such a thing, do you suggest sending him an e-mail stating why I was disappointed in the first place?

Thanks.

I think responding to him is a waste of time.

If he was THAT clueless when you were face to face, he'll be even MORE clueless now.

I'd just ignore the request and move on.

Unless you were planning on writing a negative review.

In that case, I'd just write the negative review and move on.

Others will disagree, but that's my advice.

Forget about it...

I only write a positive review it comes from the heart and is something that I want to do and usually is a reaction to having met an extraordinary individual... or at least a person who has the potential to become the real deal.

Sure, I have been asked to write reviews by some guys and in most cases it was obvious that I had enjoyed myself and that we had somehow clicked in some special way.

Individuals that have asked to have reviews written when that special magic was not there all turned out to be not worth it (at least for my individual circumstances) in the long run... and were only interested in publicity for publicity's sake. Consequently, in this case I would follow nycman's advice. Unless you felt that the overall experience was so bad that a negative review was warranted I would simply move on...

I agree with nycman. You certainly are NOT going to hire this guy again based upon what you said in your post. Simply ignore the request and trash any future emails you receive from him.

I have never had a problem with escorts requesting reviews. As I have said before I always agree and if I don't think the session warrants a review I simply forget to write it. If, however, it was a good session I am more than willing to promote the guy. The escort reviews section on this site was my bible when I first started hiring escorts thus I feel an obligation to alert readers about excellent escorts I encounter.

Everyone else seems to think you shouldn't respond to him, but I think you should write him back. Write a negative review if he was so bad that you think others should be warned about him (oh, sorry, just saw it was his website), but if he was just disappointing, why not write him back and tell him why in a serious and sincere tone.

Maybe he thinks he's doing a good job and would appreciate the feedback. Whether he's new to the business or he's been in it so long that he's just phoning it in these days, he ought to hear the news that he didn't satisfying a client. If he just shrugs off your criticism as coming from an ungrateful customer, no harm done, but maybe he'll take it to heart and be a better escort with his next client.

I agree with jackcali. The guy may be clueless. Maybe once upon a time somebody thought the closing the eyes act was cute and got off on it, so he keeps doing it. He seems to want to get somewhere in his chosen field, so feedback -- gentle, kind, affirming, but also clear and specific -- sent to him privately would do him a favor. And if he reacts negatively to it, well, then, write a review here so the rest of us aren't put through the same experience.

I love watching my partner when in the throes of passion, but I do have to work at keeping my eyes open, I feel most comfortable with them closed and sometimes have to concentrate so much that it distracts me. I have the same trouble with hitting a baseball, though I was a fine hitter, I always closed my eyes just prior to contact. I also have to fight to keep my eyes open in some other circumstance. So, if it was only the eyes closing, I would let him know. If there was more, I think I would opt to let him know. Of course, I would not write the review.

I still think that a really negative review should be written only if the experience was quite bad... and then not doing so would be dereliction of duty. A lukewarm experience might be due to an off day for either party involved one way or the other. In such a situation I usually give the guy the benefit of the doubt and remain silent.

In addition, I also just realized that the review was for his website, so submitting a bad or even tepid review that would never see the light of day would be a waste of time and I personally wouldn't waste any more time on the guy... unless you felt the need to send him a "message" beyond the silent treatment... but remember at times silence can send a loud message... especially when a guy begs for a review.

Tell it like it was!

There are those "Working Guys" who really are under the assumption that just being in the same room with them is more than a Pleasureable Experience! :D

Some have for whatever reason had their ASSES Kissed with Compliments so many times, that the idea of a Client having a "NOT HAPPY EXPERIENCE" could never happen?

I'm guessing you have met a Working Guy in that Category! Congratz we ALL have at one time or another! ;)

Give your Honest Review HERE..He can Respond IF he cares to!

As far as HIS Site..Ya know anything Even remotely Negative isn't going to show up there! ;)

To answer your question - I answered his e-mail to me and told him I could not post a favorable review on his behalf and told him why. Although he was very friendly, my main complaint was that he had his eyes shut the entire time (looked like he was trying very hard to conjure up another image in his mind).

He responded saying he appreciated my feedback, but some of his response to me bordered on insulting (i.e., he doesn't like looking at male genetalia, etc.). He mentioned that I was probably looking for a boyfriend experience (which he doesn't do, and claims on his website that he mentions that he doesn't do that). Just because someone wants eye contact, doesn't mean they want a boyfriend experience. I even went back to his website and it didn't even hint at that.

I could have responded again to his e-mail, but decided to leave it at that.

I don't think there's any reason to respond to him a second time. You told him why you were disappointed, and his defensive or uncaring reaction tells you (and us) all we need to know about what sort of escort he is. Since you're never going to see him again and since it sounds like this is something that would be an issue with many clients, I think you should submit a review here so that nobody who reads Daddy's reviews wastes any money on this loser.

Do what you feel comfortable doing

Now this guys is an escort???!!! That blows my mind!!! I would not have responded either as it would have been a waste of time!

Based on how dcguy described his initial experience I was not convinced that a bad review needed to be submitted... However, based on the escort's reply I concur with jackcali about submitting a review... or at least dcguy should spill the beans here if he feels uncomfortable or unwilling to submit a formal review.

Years ago I was scammed by a guy... and many months later it was it came to light in this forum that quite a number of guys had experienced the same ill treatment... and none ever submitted that bad review... myself included... so guilty as charged. However, a discussion here cleared the air even though the guy never ever got even one bad review... (Though after the discussion here he did seem to get quite a few quite obviously phony good ones to try and refute what was posted about him!) Fortunately the escort in question has since disappeared into the sunset.

I think it is Time to give the Name Up.. write a Review and let him RESPOND IF he wishes.

Or as in the past with Others dissatisfied....this conversation other than understandably CLOSURE for yourself has no great point to it!

It would be nice to save OTHERS the Grief and MONEY! :D

Post Review

Having been with an escort a couple of times that was highly reviewed on this sight, that did not turn out to my expectations, I believe that we should let our fellow chatters know there are two sides to an escort. As mentioned earlier, it is important to interact with a client as well all look attractive. I am certianly going to go back and write a review on this escort.

Why should we as clients spend money for services we do not get? It is time to help out our fellow chatters.

Edward Totally Agree..Too many forget that their Disappointment NEVER is shared with that of the "Working Guy" who gets PAID Regardless in 99% of Bad Hookups!

Granted the Review Form is a Lenghty one but...also it can be a form of Closure to the Client! The Working Guy can ALWAYS RESPOND FOR HIS CLOSURE! ;)

If I posted his name in this thread, and as I already mentioned I wasn't pleased with him, wouldn't that kind of count as a review (and a no-no here)?? I definitely plan on submitting a formal one though.

He used to advertise on M4M but no longer does. The only advertising I know of at the moment is through his website.

I do appreciate all of your responses.

I see no problem with an escort asking for a review -- as long as you write an honest appraisal. I've had escorts ask if I would mind writing a review when it's been clear that I had a great time. I was probably going to do it anyway, so I was happy to do it.

I've never had a dud ask me to write. But I do often do it anyway. I think it's important to write both positive and negative reviews. There are two circumstances when I don't write: 1) the escort has tons of reviews that accurately reflect the experience and I have nothing new to add; 2) I have a somewhat non-descript experience in which the escort really tries in good faith, but the chemistry just isn't there, maybe as much my mood as his. No reason to write in such a case.

To Review or not Review..That's The Question!

From my Experience around here at least in NYC ..A Review is No Guarantee for any more than maybe 1 or 2 Contact on Daddys. But usually that will not "Seal a Deal".

BUT I guess that's better than No Response from an Exspensive Ad elsewhere. :D

BUT when a guy is discussed with a "Photo & a Thumbs Up" he tends to get Contacts and a couple of "Sealed Deals"! ;)
