I don't have pets, but often dog-sit for friends who have them.

What is left of Hurricane Ida moved up the east coast of the US causing a severe nor'easter that is battering the Jersey Shore about 1 mile from my home. While it is raining cats and dogs lets not forget about trying to feed the many cat and dogs still homeless from Katrina and other tropical storms over the last 2 years.

I had a great Thanksgiving. At dinner with me was Rusty, Ben and Bonehead. They gave thanks for the food provided with a few barks, a wag of the tail and contented sigh. I gave thanks for having them in my life to share my joys and sorrows. Please click here help feed some animals who are not as fortunate as my three friends, in hopes that their human companion will soon find them and bring them home.

Aww

 

I gave my cat some turkey and he loved it. He didn't like stuffings though. I agree. There are a lot of abandoned animals. I am thankful for my cat and all the blessings I and he got this year!

 

 

I had a great Thanksgiving. At dinner with me was Rusty, Ben and Bonehead. They gave thanks for the food provided with a few barks, a wag of the tail and contented sigh. I gave thanks for having them in my life to share my joys and sorrows. Boo Boo whispered in my ear just a few minutes ago that I needed to do my *bump bump* for this thread. Then, he promptly went back to his 12 hour sleep. :)

 

I definitely wouldn't mnd doing some "Bumping" with you Sweet Cheeks! ;)

Guess its my turn to bump, as my puppy jumped in my lap while typing a heated response on gay marriage. reminding me we need to keep some good things going.

Today's adoption story on this site was about a cat with oversized ears and eyes who crawls under the covers to sleep away the northern Minnesota winters.

I was checking if the thread for NCM2169 had faded away yet and when I read this tale of a cat from Minnesota, I though it was kind of a good bye wave from beyond from that Minnesota cat. Hope the sun is shining bright for you now NCM2169
