I think you should 'pin' this to the top of the 'Deli' forum.

Daddy, I have a question. Do you always contact the escorts when they have a review? The reason I ask is that I once spoke to a 1st time reviewed escort who said he had no knowledge of the site and also said he knew nothing about any type of reviews.

Thanks,

Gman

No Problems!

I have lost count of the number of reviews I have written. I would estimate more than twenty. I now only write a review if I have seen the escort at least twice (with Dane Scott and Kristian LA as delightful exceptions :p). This after writing one several years ago about an escort from Cleveland, who was great in the first encounter but was a total disappointment (I might even say an SOB) at the second. It was too soon to write a second review under the rules at the time (Hooboy). A number of those I have written are no longer available (including that one), because of the changeover.

All of this is to say that I have never had a problem with a review being posted. Perhaps I am anal (pun intended), but before submitting I make certain that all “i”s are dotted and all “t”s are crossed, all required blanks are filled in, and that the description of the encounter says more than “We met.” And I don’t have AOL! Sometimes I have waited a bit for the review to appear, but no longer than thirty days.

Now if only I was not essentially lazy I would follow my own rule and write about Rod Hagen.:o But maybe I don’t have to now because of the one just written by “Jawjateck”. http://www.daddysreviews.com/review/rod_hagen_la. I say “Me,too!” He accurately described my own experiences (annually for the last five years while I’m in Palm Springs) with Rod. I would only add “WOW!!!”:p

I won't speak for Daddy, but I don't believe escorts are notified of reviews as I've never been informed of new review postings. To my knowledge the only times an escort would be contacted would be if they needed to provide contact info. or to add a rebuttal for a negative review.

Assuming you won't repeat a bad experience, does this mean you'll write only positive reviews? Kevin Slater

I have been very fortunate. I have not had a bad experience warranting a negative review. There have been some that were "Okay", but did not move me to repeat the performance. It may not be a good rule but it’s what I do. Of course, one could also attribute the rule to my essential laziness.:)

If I were to have a bad experience, I would review it although it would probably be difficult to write. And as indicated above, I have set aside “my” rule in a couple of instances, and may do so again in the future.

Well, I have had two bad experiences. One I reviewed, the other I didn't. I did write a very favorable review of Kristian, but when I hit the submit button, nothing happened. I waited and hit it again with no result. I waited and hit it again with no result. I gave up.

Experiences there are many !

I Personally have been Lucky with my "Working Guy Encounters". Any Negatives have been so slight that to Fill out the Review Form for what I felt was a moment of MY dissatisfaction just not worth it!

I do feel for those who have had just plain "Bad Luck" in "The Wonderful World of The Working Guy" . I can just imagine in NYC how many "Bad Experiences" there are every week that are never told! :(

review experiences

I've had a few less than stellar experiences but also many very satisfactory ones. I've submitted lots of reviews over the years and every one has been published on this site. (I use a different screen name for my reviews from the name I use in the message center.) In my experience, if you very carefully fill out the form, being sure to fill in all required categories, and submit your review carefully, it will normally show up. And I am emailing from an aol.com address - but that doesn't seem to have been a problem.

I haven't posted any reviews lately because I have been seeing only repeats at this point. There is one NYC escort with whom I've found great satisfaction, and when I'm looking for a resident escort, I go with him. There are a handful of periodic visitors to NYC with whom I've developed nice relationships, and when they are visiting I go with them. And the result is that I've already reviewed each of the fellows I've been seeing recently more than once, and as they all have numerous reviews, haven't posted anything new.

When I've posted less than highly complimentary reviews, Daddy shows them to the escort for responses, and occasionally there have been responses - usually of the defensive variety. But I don't mind those escorts having the last word, because I know the reviews I submit are honest and I think they are detailed enough so that readers can make appropriate credibility determinations.

I have submitted numerous reviews over the last ten years, and only one was never published, because it was too soon after another review I had done of that escort. However, I have not submitted for a long time because I have pretty much stopped hiring, so I don't know whether the process has become less reliable than it used to be.

As an escort, I didn't find out about this site or any other review site until a client gave me a call. He wanted to congratulate me on my first review......I didn't have a clue what he was talking about. He explained, I was intrigued, found the site, immediately bookmarked, came back to visit a few times, then decided I had to join. I enjoy and appreciate, very much, what Daddy's site offers both escorts and the men that hire them!

Here's to Hooboy!

Paul I will second that - we here at Maximum totally appreciate what Daddy is doing and what this site brings to our agency.
Yes we all ALSO owe a Great deal to the "Originator" of A SITE ABOUT & FOR The Working Guys of the World...HOOBOY!

Whether or not a "Working Guy Review Site" of this Popularity and SIZE would have ever come about who knows ?

BUT no matter where he was in his Travels The Site always came First! Of course unless he was with a Hunk which he OFTEN was then it would cum Second! :D

A decade ago I wrote a nice review of an exceptional escort. It backfired for him and he begged me to get it killed. HooBoy cooperated when I explained the circumstances and the problem.

I have done many reviews, some not so compltimentary. I wrote about a no show for an IN on this part of the site. It was published.

Well I dont always agree I know I have written extensive reviews on Anthony Hendrix Tampa, and now Vance Winter - LA and neither have had any communications or reviews posted.

You know it gets tiresome when people tell only part of the truth.

You would think that somebody that has submitted two dozen reviews or so would write daddy an email and ask for the status of review they didn't receive a confirmation.

Well I have not posted a review of a well regarded guy here only because I would be repeating what so many others have said... done so in the past.... so why do the same if it does not add to what has been said already. Other then getting his "numbers" up :) Which he really does not need. :)

The 1st guy I hired has only like 20 reviews since like 2003 or so.... but we had a great time. And hence my review.... My second guy (a "specialty" sort of guy a Bodybuilder type) - has the same number of reviews.... but he made me feel "special" over our time.... The third guy has 60+ reviews... he needed no more reviews other then a bad time made good in the end for the both of us. The last one has has close to 30 reviews in just the past year - what could I say other than it was the perfect BFE :) So much so that he shared his "real" 1st name with me....

So with the last guy; what I could share that hasn't been told so far? Other then I was "off my feed that day" - but we made the best of it.... :)

re "beware"

I should amend my statement - beware of a first-time reviewer who is absolutely glowing about the escort. Obviously, a first-time reviewer who says something less than glowing is reasonably credible, since it is highly unlikely that an escort would write a review about himself that is not totally positive.

This for being so reliable here and credible. Glad you take great steps to ensure accurate reviews. I myself had to change my e-mail from AOL since they seem to always bounce back.
