Long Standing Policy

Which has been the policy that Hooboy instituted almost ten years ago. He even had a separate page for "No Shows" that he eventually took down.

I made a date with an escort and he never showed up. How do I let people know he is unreliable?

In general we look at these on a case-by-case basis. In general we "Hold" these type of reviews because if is very difficult to verify this type of situation.

In general, you should never prepay for an Escorts Services. We'll handle these types of reviews on a case by case basis. We're very interested in these types of situations, If you come across a site that requests prepayment, send email to
and give him the details; this practice is not the norm for the industry.

I want to submit a review of an escort. I haven't been with him, but I don't his attitude in his email/phone/voicemail, etc.

Hooboy once said: "Folks, if you didn't eat at the restaurant, I do not think you can write about the sashimi. If you don't like the way the menu looks or if the staff has an attitude problem, move on. Do not try to dish the dish."

A no-show review I wrote was posted back when HB ran the place. It wasn't on a separate page.

I wouldn't review the food of a restaurant I didn't eat in--but if a restaurant took my reservation and had no table for me when I arrived, other prospective patrons might benefit from hearing about that.

At the end of the thread at http://www.companyofmen.org/showthread.php?t=74542&page=3 several of us said we'd like to see no-show reviews posted--in case actual opinions of the people who participate here count for something.

hija Tristan - just wanted to say - wow very impressed with your website! - I have had a few reviews on this site profile name sleazy michael - but have only recently started to explore the forum - so very interesting stuff.

Oh well I have a lot of catching up to do - with all your awards - but I do have one - Male Escort Of The Year 2007 Erotic Awards - here in the UK - you can view the trophy on my website http://www.sleazymichael.com

Hija Viscount - read with gr8 interest - as a male escort myself - I agree that all escorts should not ASSUME all will be favourable - FORTUNATELY to date - touch wood since I started as a male escort way back in Nov 2004 only had 41 favourable reviews - sess http://www.sleazymichael.com - diary/client reviews - it is only frustrating - and often I am sure mentioned elsewhere - that in CONTRAST to daddysreview the majority of reviews submitted by my clients to this site have not been posted.

Mind you many I feel almost give up the will to love with all the crazy stat info BOTH review sites ask for - quite ABSURD and OVERDONE in my view - next they will be asking for DNA samples - to have ask specifics like hieght - weight - well excuse me most of this will surely be guesswork? - I do email a page of stats to try and make the process less cumbersome - no doubt both review sites have gone into chapter and verse on this justifying the production of what is in effect a CV.

To be sure far more clients would be inclined to submit reviews if it was just basically the review - a date - and short one liner on the client - or am I being too simplistic?

As an escort, I didn't find out about this site or any other review site until a client gave me a call. He wanted to congratulate me on my first review......I didn't have a clue what he was talking about. He explained, I was intrigued, found the site, immediately bookmarked, came back to visit a few times, then decided I had to join. I enjoy and appreciate, very much, what Daddy's site offers both escorts and the men that hire them!

HEAR HEAR! - FROM Sleazy Michael here in the UK - for years I have encouraged clients to submit reviews to both sites - but as I mention elsewhere many almost give up the will to live when they are virtually asked to supply the escorts DNA! ( http://www.sleazymichael.com )

It would be nice if you can contact the escort when any type of review is written about them. I've had 10 reviews written here about me and in each case was notified by the client or just randomly happened to see it posted

How do I request that I not be contacted by this website after submitting a review? I submitted an admittedly incomplete review recently with poor contact information. This website, out of courtesy, contacted me and asked for more information. The problem is, my life is complicated and it presents problems for me to receive and reply to emails from sites such as this. If I send in a complete and useful review, is it posible to do so without a reply from the website?

Verymarried -- I will let one of the powers that be address your specific question (daddy, deej???), but I was wondering why you wouldn't be using an alternative email account for a site such as this that only you could possibly get to? Those here who know my email account I use here and elsewhere on websites such as this will easily attest to the fact that it could not be guessed by anyone in a billion years. I have never EVER received a piece of spam and it is completely and totally safe from prying eyes -- as long as you log out each and every time you are in it. There are enough free sites (google mail, yahoo, mail, hotmali to name 3) that you can easily set up free email accounts.

It's not only what I would do. It's what i did.

I won't speak for Daddy, but I don't believe escorts are notified of reviews as I've never been informed of new review postings. To my knowledge the only times an escort would be contacted would be if they needed to provide contact info. or to add a rebuttal for a negative review.

I've been reviewed several times and only found out about the review from my client or I just happened to log in and see it.

A decade ago I wrote a nice review of an exceptional escort. It backfired for him and he begged me to get it killed. HooBoy cooperated when I explained the circumstances and the problem.

I have done many reviews, some not so compltimentary. I wrote about a no show for an IN on this part of the site. It was published.

Out of curiosity, how/why did this backfire?

Wondering how hard it would be for code to be written into the review submission, so that the client could check a box that says something like "Notify these people when this review is published" and enter a few email addresses like their own, the escorts, a buddy, etc.

Then, on the day the review goes on the site, those people get an email saying it's been published... with a link to Daddysreviews. It's like a win-win-win; the client gets to know the thing got on the site, the escort gets notified that a review's been written about him, and Daddysreviews gets potential new readers (if the escort's been unaware of the site, or if the buddy hadn't known about it before either).

I realize it might be too many extra steps, and Daddy already has his basket full... but with the right code written, um...

(OK, I'm an escort, not a programmer)

Notifying the reviewer and the escort sounds like a good idea, but I'd be leery of letting anyone give out the email adresses of third parties and then sending unsolicited emails with links to an escort review. Daddy has no way of knowing who those people really are or if they want an email from this site.

This has also been what I have known to be true.
