Think these titles mean nothing? Well, let me tell you. I was out earlier this evening, and had a few drinks. Cop pulls me over and I says "hey, I'm the Duke of Hooville. You can't ticket me!" He walks away to his car, returns, and says "Sir, you are very Lucky. Hooville is charging you no fines tonight." Thereupon he orders me to his car to celebrate, and sure enough, cute little guy wantsa blow job. The thrills of being a Duke!

Well, I'm Count Luv2play, not CuntLuv2play as some may think(or not). But I haven't seen an increase in my pension. Also I'm afraid if I were to use the title, escorts would charge me more!

Lucky, Telling a cop you're a "Duke" is very impressive, but try telling him you're a "super moderator"... Not only will you get blamed for everything wrong in the world but he'll viciously attack you for just being a moderator, call you all sorts of offensive names, try to engage you into a meaningless confrontation, and pick apart every reply you make. No, I won't tell anyone that I'm a "super moderator". It's my secret. ;)

You know the worst part about being a knight? All the time and money spent on silver polish to keep my armour shiney.

Lurker, everyone knows that only a Duke can do a proper spit-polish. Perhaps I can be of service... :p

As a person who has to use the numbers one through ten often before I reply, my category seems to be quite appropriate.

LOL Too funny. What would other appropriate categories be? "Troll"? "Grammarian"? "Horndog"? Personally, I think "Duke" should be renamed "Smartass."

As a mere "Lord", perhaps if I can learn to count to 21, I can reach "Count" status. Am I now a member of the House of Lords? Or maybe I'm Lord of the Rings? Or perhaps I can lord it over others? Oh Lord ....

Oliver, Lord is actually very authentic sounding, as opposed to Count. In the English system, not only are members of the House of Lords, Lords but judges are also referred to as "My Lord" in the courtroom. Counts on the other hand are often phoney, like the Count of Monte Cristo. There are more ersatz Counts than you can shake a stick at, including me!

A count/earl/graf

It doesn't sound all that terrible ...

From Wikipedia: A count is a nobleman in European countries; The word count comes from French comte, itself from Latin comes - in its accusative comitem - meaning "companion", and later "companion of the emperor, delegate of the emperor" ... I can go with that. :)

The British equivalent is an earl and the german is Graf

I'm sure Greg and I are both wondering when we make our debutantes at court shedding out Viscount status or if we should just enjoy our youthful exploits amoung the courtesans?

Do we get to order the knights to do ur bidding?

Cooper -

Concerning the avatar - I tried a couple of others but the message was that they were too big. Always did want to be told that! (evil grin)
